That's funny, but really doesn't make any sense, prefer this interpretation myself, which i think is more likely in the context it's used.

Still, there are plenty of theories to go around. The Yale Book of Quotations defines the word as “faithful friend or trusty scout,” and this is the most common interpretation. (In an episode of the TV show, Tonto tells the Lone Ranger that the word “mean trusty scout.”) A 1939 Saturday Evening Post article claimed that Striker’s letters to his children always opened with the phrase “Ta-i ke-mo sah-bee,” or, “Greetings, trusty scout.”And Striker’s widow told the Hartford Courant in 1977, “I think he interpreted ‘kemo sabe’ to mean ‘good friend’ or ‘good scout.’ ”

Oh dear, more lies from the forum liar. You cant walk past the door of the Lowther Arms (Kit Horns) in the morning ffs, not unless you wanted to go onto the car park and then roll down the hill into the town centre as the door to the pub isnt on the main road.

Never mind kemo, you still havent explained why the locals in the Hensingham area went off you rather quickly not long before your spell of porridge.

blowing me own trumpet here hello but 1st saw them at the old Gateshead International Stadium - which was a dump by the way- in 1982 when they were supporting none other than The Police ShockedShockedShocked

Was a massive Simple Minds Fan at time as well - some of their early songs were amazing
