Sorry Stan, just seen it now. I know the horse had at one time a decent level of ability but has had a wind op in the past. Gary Moore is not an easy trainer to improve a horse from but Mick is excellent at getting to the bottom of horses that have had issues and hopefully will do well for you.

It's hard to say really. Based on his last couple of runs you would say it isn't but if Mick can get the horse back to his best it might be an absolute bargain.
He just kept saying it’s run twice at one track and won both times, should be out in next few weeks. I’m going to private message u on Friday morning with a bet as a thank you for your time.
Just noticed where both his wins are, Stan. Not many trainers are better round there than Mick.
After it’s debut race for us it will be racing purely at that track it’s won at before, that bloke knows what he’s doing or you’d not have horses with him. Plus in 6 months time we might be selling it onto a new racing club so hopefully it’s value may have risen.

Hopefully Point Zero will at least get a place here as well. Bit to do at the weights but at least he has loads of experience on the surface.

Cheers, he's been a tad disappointing to date but he does usually run a race on that surface.
Wd Barton , took a few more attempts than usual on the surface but finally got it's head in front 
Hopefully the handicapper doesn't take it literally given the third was rated higher than us but had never run at Southwell.
Tbf, The Right Choice form was looking good, beaten a short head giving him 4lb and that horse is now rated 10lb higher.

Chapman loves having a pop at the horse. Not saying it's totally unjustified by any means but does get a bit tedious.

Wouldn't lose heart with the horse just yet, Stan. If it was mine I would drop it into a 0-70 next time and if it doesn't hit the frame go for sellers/claimers.

He's done alright Point Zero. Paid his way through the winter after a frustrating run of seconds. Hopefully Space Bandit can run well. It's a competitive race but he has scope and is progressing.

I don't think they are running as badly as the lack of winners in the last week or two suggests. He's had plenty with stiff tasks lately. Would expect Space Bandit to be thereabouts for us in the 7.00.

Some nice results for you recently mate well done, micks running out of excuses now and is still adamant the horse can get back to being rated a lot higher,might send it to Ian Williams to try hurdling again if he runs poorly again tonight and Sunday.

Hopefully go again on Sunday but in your opinion how much difference does being 5 wide all the way around there make? Missing break and fern owl keeping us that wide didnt help I don’t think according to the jockey. Jockey said it wants to go 2 miles, mick instantly replied with well you went over 2 miles there,haha you’ve got to laugh about these things. I think next time we buy one idlike to get your opinion 1st as this has just been a kick in the balls all along.
Sadly, I do think you bought from the wrong trainer to expect guaranteed improvement. I don't think going wide at Southwell is as big an issue as most tracks. Thought primarily the horse ran a decent enough race but isn't much better than that. There will be less competitive 0-65s round there and hopefully you run well if you go on Sunday.
Stan I think I did your horse. My thoughts were it should at least have been placed-i dont think the jockey could have ridden a worse race. i know going wide at Southwell isn't always an issue like other tracks but even so...

Theo isn’t convinced he finds off the bridal so didn’t really get stuck in, ali and lundie both said he did and Curtis thought if we stepped him up in trip he’d be really competitive at this level.Itll be nice to be at bottom of the weights on Sunday instead of the top, let’s see how he does. Finallly this 2 year old we’ve got is cantering.hooefully be out in a few months.

Cheers mate, not as good as your runner at Musselburgh yesterday!!!! Handicapper has been very lenient with that winner imo. Much better performance though, Theo reckons that the winner coming towards us put ours off as he’s not the bravest horse and he lost a bit of momentum, I’m not so sure.If you owned him would you send him hurdling or go down the route of the stayers series at pontefract ( that’s what mick and the jockey suggested) but your opinion means more to me.thanks
I'd probably stick on the Flat now he's run a couple of decent races. We were delighted with Saaheq yesterday albeit not so much with The Great Wall this afternoon. Can't win them all!
Thanks mate, I know he’s no real idea but Kevin lundie once told me at the track he felt the Great Wall had back problems.
