Sorry Stan, just seen it now. I know the horse had at one time a decent level of ability but has had a wind op in the past. Gary Moore is not an easy trainer to improve a horse from but Mick is excellent at getting to the bottom of horses that have had issues and hopefully will do well for you.

Nice one mate, was a spur of the moment purchase lol. He said it would be perfect for what we are after. Thanks for the recommendation.
By:
How much did he cost, if you don't mind me asking?
By:
couple of guinea pigs.
By:
6k do you think that’s a good deal? Look at its 2 wins and you can see why he’s got it.
By:
It's hard to say really. Based on his last couple of runs you would say it isn't but if Mick can get the horse back to his best it might be an absolute bargain.
By:
He just kept saying it’s run twice at one track and won both times, should be out in next few weeks. I’m going to private message u on Friday morning with a bet as a thank you for your time.

cc or bcc

Just noticed where both his wins are, Stan. Not many trainers are better round there than Mick.
By:
After it’s debut race for us it will be racing purely at that track it’s won at before, that bloke knows what he’s doing or you’d not have horses with him. Plus in 6 months time we might be selling it onto a new racing club so hopefully it’s value may have risen.

Bartonbank I’ve messaged regarding a question I’ve got cheers mate, have a good weekend.
By:
where was the cc, bcc?
By:
Can't believe i couldn't find this with the clues.
Assuming I have the right trainer switch. |
By:
and we are talking suvvers.
By:
* I certainly wouldn't post it if I had was just fascinated what horse it was.
anyway all the best Stan hope you get something out of it. |
By:
I'd answer you if I knew what you were asking, Delta!

Ditto

By:
Good luck Stan, reasonable race for the grade but hopefully your horse will go well.
By:
Hopefully Point Zero will at least get a place here as well. Bit to do at the weights but at least he has loads of experience on the surface.
By:
That'll do. About time he got his head in front.
By:
to be honest i never thought he never would,
very well done, good to see |
By:
ever
By:
Cheers, he's been a tad disappointing to date but he does usually run a race on that surface.
By:
Wd Barton , took a few more attempts than usual on the surface but finally got it's head in front

Hopefully the handicapper doesn't take it literally given the third was rated higher than us but had never run at Southwell.
By:
Tbf, The Right Choice form was looking good, beaten a short head giving him 4lb and that horse is now rated 10lb higher.
Didn't hear what Chapman said pre-race but suspect it wasn't very complimentary ![]() |
By:
Chapman loves having a pop at the horse. Not saying it's totally unjustified by any means but does get a bit tedious.
By:
does get a bit tedious.
that is Chappers in a nutshell IMO |
By:
Just had a text to say you are borrowing our colours for High Command, Stan. Let's hope they are back in the winner's enclosure.
By:
weak in mkt
By:
There's no way I'd lay one of his at that price that has to come back to form with 100% record at track

my only bet today, looks like it might not be today,if you take betfair as a guide but will surely win one there soon
By:
i thought there was a bit of promise there, will probably strip a bit fitter next time.
By:
unless it wasn't off today, not many positives there imo
