By:
yes Delta said as much, thanks.

Dont think I've any switchers for tomorrow from my list of trainers but I'm going to take a leaf our of the Deltâ book and Ihave researched some stats for trainers where the horse is having its second outing for the stable after switching, three so far all price dependant! No price but only the Olly Murphy switcher was of any interest today.

By:
Joseph's been blitzing his this year.
By:
Cadeaux Boxer 7.00 Newcastle.....maybe of interest?
By:
Could be, Ellison has 13 placed from 23 flat switchers when ran at Newcastle, decent 12 points profit in the place market, not on my list though, money could talk though. Best of Sofiakenny if you play.
By:
Thanks Oily..Letmestopyouthere 8.45 Wooly may be worth a look.
By:
striding, is a switcher from Lee Carter to any other trainer a positive?
By:
A funny one that mate, Archie Watson is in profit with his switchers this year for the first time, 4 winners from 22 and 6 points profit and also half of them placed for another 6 points profit. The horse is a strange case, went from Bell to Osborne, ran once at Laytown, a race in which Osborne also saddled the winner then Osborne back to Bell in a Claimer, ran just that once and now moved on to Watson, could be a plot? Wasn't exactly given a hard race last time out, could be worth a market check.
By:
George B - thats the situation with Cadeux tomorrow, by my stats - switchers from the Carter stable to any other stable are 1/29 and currently 0/17, the one winner went to P Butler. Tomorrow's is the first that has gone from him to Ellison.
By:
Oily, I've got a notebook run for him when he was rated 70 - now rated 50
![]() Was initially rated 82 on the back of being placed in a Newmarket maiden; has only managed 2 placings from 20 starts. His best trip on RPRs appears to be 7f, and he has been known to be headstrong, so suppose a stiff mile is a slight query, though on some form appears to stay it, and if Ellison can restore him back to somewhere near to what he was capable of, his relative 'class' may seem him through. |
By:
Doesn't look an obvious one.
Ellison 16-77 last 10 years with switchers 13.02 expected A/E 1.23 not had any form Carter, lto Carter switchers 1-31 in general. Ellison non winner switchers 3-26 last 10 years, 4.1 expected The 3 Ellison non winners only had a handful of runs (5 the most) so they were far more unexposed than today's. Ellison with today's jockey 0-21 but only 1.08 expected. The overall picture of a highly regressive pretty exposed looking non winner is not one that jumps out on stats so will be interesting how it holds up in market later. I'd be surprised if it's still strong (I'm not convinced it will be) and runs badly. |
By:
Switchers to look out for today, some that didnt appear on my list last night have appeared now, 11/1 or under:
2.45 Str Atlantic Storm 11/1 and Activial 9/1 7.00 Newc Cadeux Boxer 4/1 8.45 Wolves Letmestopyouthere 8/1 A couple for interest having already had their first run for the new trainer and now having their second: 1.40 Strat Stowaway Magic 11/8 drifing (against an odds on fav) 2.15 Strat Woodford 3/1 drifting |
By:
Archie Watson's looks the best one purely on stats and price Oily (his 2t switch stats are strong).
Nursery debutant up in trip (good signals from pedigree regarding tapeta) has looked short of pace over a mile. couldn't knock 4/1 on this one at all. |
By:
Woodfort would be interesting but the running in a seller on 2nd start is not the norm and would be a concern for me.
By:
*Apologies Startego (6:45) was 4.9/ 5.0 on here when I looked half an hour ago is now 4.0
By:
Just started keeping lists for those having their second run for a new trainer, two today will be observed and see how we go.
By:
JOB was the other 2nd time switcher i mentioned last night but his runner is now odds on because of a big % defector in the race so not interesting anymore.
By:
Today 7.45 Jan Van Hoof (IRE) Wolverhampton (LH) 10 Dennis, Mr P (3) 9/1 Herrington,M
trainer 5-11 2nd time switchers on the tapeta not looked at it yet currently 12.0 |

Todays switchers to 11/1:
1.55 Weth Crucial Role - Daley to Skelton, tough race but was 138 rated hurdler, if the change of scenery improves him.....5/2 3.15 Uttoxeter Zephyros Blue - Whittington to Skelton, had a wind op, 3/1 4.20 Utt Simpley Loveleh - Stephens to Skelton, ran decent in only race to date, 1/1 8.15 Kem Enzo - Walker to Butler, only one previous run on the all weather and finished last, there is hope though as that was a Class 4 race and three of them went on to win next time out. 9/1 Having second run for trainer? 2.30 Wet King Dargent 5/2 |
By:
in that Enzo race, Butler has 2 switcheroonies [same owner] other one has first colours on
By:
I noticed that Deltâ, the big drift put me off that one, could change before the off though! Balding has a switcher from Cox in the race as well.
By:
last and tailed off last, them two
good byes them ![]() |
By:
That those two off the list then Deltâ!! Missed a couple of winners yesterday that were having their second run for a trainer, never mind.
Yesterdays selected switchers werent good: 1.55 Weth Crucial Role - Non Runner 3.15 Uttoxeter Zephyros Blue - Whittington to Skelton, had a wind op, 3/1 - drifted halved in price i/r then faded, unplaced 4.20 Utt Simpley Loveleh - Stephens to Skelton, ran decent in only race to date, 1/1 - hit 1.4 i/r but couldnt win, placed at a measly 1.25 8.15 Kem Enzo - drifted out to 32 so became a no selection Having second run for trainer? 2.30 Wet King Dargent 5/2 - another that went odds on i/r but couldnt hold out, placed at 1.46 |
By:
Today's interesting switchers: I've backed all three.
1.20 Down Royal - Scurling to Bromhead, Raya Time, won his debut and NHF race easily - 5/2 3.35 Ascot - Jonjo to Twiston-Davies, won this last year, Go Conquer - 4/1 4.10 Down Royal - Crawford to Elliott hence the 8/13 price, Malone Road, could be a smart one. |
By:
What about Ballyhome yesterday. Keep up
By:
Yes I know about Ballyhome yesterday, Powell to Fergal, and forgot to put it up with the others, too late afterwards though.
