might have been (certainly top 3) a few years ago but @ 34 (35 later in sept) he is firmly on the wrong side of the ageing curve for jockeys" Disagree about the age thing, jockeys often at their best at late 30s imho |

Desperately poor.

What the fcuk is wrong with this moron!

I hate it when they challenge up the inside.
By:
And what need was there to do that? None!

Short of room in a 2 horse race on a track as wide as Ascot - unbelievable..
By:
Lyds harping on about horse wanting it more, jock wanted it more too. Ryan never been as good as made out to be, now embarassingly bad.
By:
Best way to imtimidate your own mount. Squeeze it up on the rail. And just to showcase your skills throw your whip away.

evidence of this please and define "at their best" (won't accept riding more winners or better horses/more group winners as evidence of them being "at their best" as this often happens as jockeys get older, perceived trust in them is higher by trainers, which is a phenomenon that masks the ageing curve |

Jamie Spencer is the best in the world

poor Ryan is getting a bashing from the betfair forumites,i remember one time the same forumites said a certain useless plod horse named Annie Power would could not run or jump

Annie Power was brilliant - Ryan Moore is not.

Keep following Doyle you can’t go wrong
the oracle was at his best again there lol asleep until it was tooo late! |
By:
Jockeys the only sportspeople not allowed to have an off day.
By:
maybe not. Is he just on cr@p horses or what?
By:
By:
He has an off day every day? When did he last have a good one? Doyle and SDS are in a different league to that guy. Can’t see him keeping that job at Ballydoyle much longer....Donaccha is better than him and even Seamie can’t be far off now!
By:
Agree wonder. Imo Doyle is the best flat jockey in the country at the moment. SDS a close 2nd but the pair of them are way beyond anyone else riding here....
By:
Ben Curtis is superb. Will get a top job soon.
By:
Then what is your criteria for being at their best, if it is not more winner, better strike rate, better record in group races, etc ?
By:
Best jockey wins again
where was Moore?! ![]() |
By:
Had James Doyle been given the same opportunities throughout his career instead of Moore, he would have had far more success than Moore. To think he almost gave the game up to become a plumber.

Heffernan is a proper "job" jockey |
By:
Ryan Moore has accumulated over £29 million in prize money over the last 5 years in the UK alone, no other jockey riding in Europe has come anywhere near that.
