On a earlier thread you rated The irish rover superior to land force yet on here think shine so bright who finished behind land force to be a bigger danger to space traveler than the irish rover for what its worth i also fancy space traveler to win.

I don't like The Irish Rover and think he was flattered in Ireland. You asked who I thought was superior over 6f, not who I thought was a better horse.

Land Force is a 5f horse through and through. Goodwood's easy 6f suited him, but if he was in this race today he would run out of steam, I also don't think Shine So Bright handled the downhill part of Goodwood as he seemed to get unbalanced and he also seemed to not get a run when he needed one, and was hanging on the track whilst running on. I think Shine So Bright will be better suited to a flat galloping 6f, than he was the undulating one at Goodwood and had the Richmond be run at York, I think he would have come out on top.

The Irish Rover is a stronger stayer in my book than Land Force, and will probably improve again for 7f, but I don't think he is much better than a 100-105 horse at this trip and therefore I would have Shine So Bright ahead of him. That said the Fahey horse only had 8lb to find with SSB and is open to more improvement and I think he has a lot of natural speed and could be a very smart sprinter. So I prefer to side with him.

I liked Legends of War pre debut, his work with Calyx at home was pleasing, but he went lame about 10 days before Ascot and he had got very edgy at home since then and sweats up a lot, which he wasn't doing before his debut. When he ran in the July Stakes, granted it was a hot day but he got worked up and he ran no real race, now he was slightly short of work going into the race, but he was disappointing nonetheless.
His latest start was a win but he made hard work of the field and ran to around 90 for me, which was the same figure as his Newmarket run and 2lb better than his winning debut which hasn't really worked out, despite being visually impressive.

He is not the biggest of colts either, he's leggy and athletic but he isn't a strong stocky type you like to see in a sprinter and I think he'll end up wanting further than 6f. I saw him gallop last Wednesday and he didn't work as well as King Of Comedy and was pushed out in the gallop. I think fairs fair, he's a solid 90 horse, maybe the odd lb better but today he is up against proven high 90s to low 100 horses, and I think they will prove too speedy for him and he'll be staying on into 4th or 5th, but I don't see him as good enough.

I'm not saying it's not an interesting renewal but it is not a strong one either, the Balding horse with 106 sets the standard then you have 2/3 around the 100 bar, with the remainder looking potentially improving mid 90s horses.

On figures, Legends Of War rates one of the lowest, 5lb behind the other horse you mention Emaraaty Ana. There is no official retainer between Tom and the owner but he is a selected rider for the horses, however he had to go to Newmarket today to ride one for Ismail Mohammed so wasn't available for the ride, plus Tom didn't want only 1 ride at York, when he has 5 rides at other meetings today. Spencer also rides a good few for the owner.

(Grabs the sick bucket)

Thought that was a dead heat at worse !

£25 profit from Mabs (could have been so much more) and £37.50 profit from Stoute horse.

£70 loss on ST

£7.50 down so far on day with 2 to run and it feels kinda sickening !

@Charlton

Do everyone a favour and do one, it's clear you don't like me and you try to nit pick everything I put up.

You don't add anything constructive and you are nothing but a prick. So F uck off.

nit pick? there is a fundamental difference between "on fire" and down on the day". that is not nit picking, that is pointing out the facts that some didnt seem to notice.

Okay knob head

Explain what was absolute shyte about my opinion on the Gimcrack when asked?

I stated very clearly it was not a strong race
wide open
Legends wants 7f (he does)
Balding horse had best form in race and was horse to beat but possibly flattered by 106 and 100-103 would prob win race. Which is probably close to right when figures come out
The Ryan horse was about 5lb better on figures than legens (2.5lb a length over 6f), he's beaten him a comfy 1/2L (value for a length, given eased close to line), so has proven he is a 2-3lb better horse, which with 5lb difference on figures shows one has progressed a couple of lbs but supremacy remained
Stated couldn't give chance to Irish Rover as flattered last time in suspect group 1 and he is one paced - well enough beaten and unplaced

You decided to try and be clever without actually assessing anything, because you a bell end.

So as I said F uck off.

Only £10 on Battaash in the without market? The correct stake should have been £53 and £53 on that fine Stoute horse at Newmarket.

what about my winners on weds? old persian (16/1 + places) and ginger nut (3/1 after losers)

and what about today. legends of war at 16/1 and 3/1 a place when you were telling everyone it was one of the lowest rated etc etc

and what about my place lay of batash, a winner at 5/1

i think i have added some constructive stuff

Willie, I had an email off Betfair VIP today, stating if you continued abusing on my threads and I sent them evidence again, they will ban you, so keep going, your on your way to losing your forum account.

I will be emailing them within the hour of your further nonsense if you don't do one, lets see how long you last.

As I said F uck off.

no i didnt try and be clever (after the race, if that's what you're implying). I put the horse up as my bet last night at 10 and went in again at 17, got all the losses back ir and won the place bet.
