Paul is training from Gosport.
Jo his wife runs an antiques shop I believe. The horses that have come to him are through Chelsea Banham who is pre training in Newmarket and wants to train. Wouldn't be surprised if she is assistant. Few have gone straight from Banhams to him, others from Kelleway and Butler and a couple of 2yo's not sure where they came from as unraced. |

Paul and Jo are lovely people. Got to know them well when they shared Warren Place whilst I was riding out there and Fanshawes. It's nice to see them back, always had a lot of time for Paul.

Butler packed up because he had to, he was advised to relinquish his license or he wouldn't be granted one. He went as assistant to a big yard for a while, then when advised was fine to reapply, he did. His gf / assistant is Alice Haynes who used to be apprentice for Mark Wallace and then David Simcock.

Cowlinge is about 10 miles from Newmarket. So not in Newmarket at all. Certainly won't be using town gallops. Looks like that's where Chelsea Banham's pre training yard is so, basically Chelsea is training them and using Pauls name.

That is Chelsea Banham's pre training yard. You can see from the link I put on here earlier.
Paul is holding the license, Chelsea is assistant, she needs to be an assistant for 18 moths before she can apply for a license. I would imagine it's her and Joey doing most of the work though, I imagine Paul is on the license just as it's handy, loads of trainers do it / have done it. The yard is about 10 miles outside of Newmarket. Has it's own gallops, but it is Chelsea Banham's pre training yard address. |

Correct about Joey & Chelsea, Isn't Chelseas father Gary banned from owning horses or being on a licenced premises?
