Anyone remembers his ride on Sir Dancealot in the Stewards Cup last season? It was one of his worst on a prestigious race; heavily backed but supporters knew their fate soon after.
By:
inept and no idea but still top jock at the meeting yet again

And? ^

By:
Yes he has the Ammo you have to hit the target at some stage
By:
How many rides to winners? What did he win by? Were his rides fancied eg fav, 2nd fav, 3rd fav? Then compare these stats to other jocks eg Dettori, Buick, Doyle, Spencer and Crowley.
By:
nellie, you are a complete idiot, fook off
By:
so how many of his so called fuuking clueless rides would any of the above jocks mentioned would have won on them
By:
Do you think he never gives one a bad ride?
By:
did i say that?so what horses should have won that he rode this week that did not?
By:
in my opinion a few of the horses were shorter than they should have been but thats because who trains them.but hey im only a fuuking idiot female so what do i know

Ryan Moore - leading jockey at #RoyalAscot for the 8th time in 9 years
quids down if you backed him every race ![]() |
By:
Roosevelt, should have made much more use of it, and it is about putting your mount in a position to win, or do better, or change things when it needs to be done, he just sits there and waits
By:
"So what horses should he have won that he rode this week that did not win"
The above is a loaded against the horse and favoured the jockey. I think a fairer question would have been could Moore have given his mounts a better chance of winning eg better placed to mount a challege rather than stuck right at the back eg Delano Roosevelt and Thomas Hobson, just to name two. |
By:
nellie, I am sorry for telling you to fook off
By:
commentators make out your raking it in if you backed Moore, dettori all week

By:
dont worry deptford i tell blokes to fuuk off all the time.yes i agree thomas hobson was to far back and roosevelt could have had more ue made of him but i thought roosevelt was feeling the ground a little not raced on anything as quick as it was that day.

What annoys me most is the media love in, never ever saying anything, bottom lickers the lot of them
By:
If the media pulled him in about it I’d be happy too Deptford....the fact they lick his ass pisses me right off...
By:
i agree with the two above statements its not like he is media friendly but they lick all the top jocks arses.frightened to fall off the gravy train all of them
By:
Maybe these lot: Clemmie, US Navy Flag, Chelkar, Yucatan, Cliff Of Moher, Could It Be Love, Bond Street, Sioux Nation and Clear Skies. Were these placed to challenge, obtain a better finishing position or win?

well you'd have to bet around £6 a day and not many of us smart enough to keep our stakes at that level ;)

Anyone that backs Delano Roosevelt with hard earned needs to watch videos of his races.
It beat an odds-on stablemate in a maiden who's never won since, nor has Delano in 6 subsequent races. It raced off 110 on Friday and that mark flatters him. In my opinion, he's one paced (no turn of foot) stays well but needs further (St Leger for example) and if it continues to run at 10f or 12f will never win a group race. The poster that thinks it may be a danger to Saxon Warrior in the Irish Derby (another thread) needs to wake up and smell the coffee Good luck |
By:
I123 is the biggest pocket talking hypocrite on here.
He's done nothing but slag off Ryan Moore, and Willie Mullins, for the last 3 years and yet he always backs their horses because they are the hot favourite which is the only type of bet he ever has. |
By:
the trouble with moore is he does not give a fook about punters
By:
Why would/should he?
By:
If Moore knows Delano Roosevelt is one-paced and too slow to win group races over 10/12f, why is he holding him up in a poor position off a slow pace? A smart jockey would have him out in front making the running and controlling the pace.
Whether the horse is good enough to win or not is not really relevant. It was a poor ride because he was poorly positioned in a slow run race, as was Thomas Hobson in the final race yesterday. |
By:
A smart jockey would have him out in front making the running and controlling the pace.
A little difficult when the horse lost ground at the start. Even when he starts with the field he doesn't have the pace to race from the front. It stays well, but needs 14f. RP Dwelt, shifted left and bumped leaving stalls, held up in last quartet, effort just over 2f out, 5th and still plenty to do when switched left over 1f out, kept on well inside final furlong, never threatened leaders |
By:
He could have got that horse to the front, it was a slow early pace, but as usual he just sits there and waits to see what happens in front of him, he is totally and utterly inept as to what to do if things need changing during a race
By:
he is a bit of a one-trick pony. luckily he rides some absolute monsters
By:
Deptford,
Watch the video |

Finest jockey of his generation and if you don’t agree with that then you’re a complete mug.

By:
Was a tad unlucky as well wiv TH in last race as was just putting it into the race when he was stopped in his tracks briefly losing momentum and realistically any chance of winning - its a risky strategy sitting off the pace as the cards need to fall right for you otherwise you risk the wrath of the armchair jockeys on here - Hughsie was a master at it and on straight track Frank Spencer aint bad at it neither..... as long as they have gone too fast upfront
