Bataash for me as well

By:
5-2 on here seem fair enough.

I was in the Bataash camp at York last season when he lost any chance pre race and wud be again were he to get down to the start wivout incident but it cud be a big "if" - likely to be a warm day wiv massive crowd in attendance which cud help contribute to this fella boiling over again which wud be a shame cos theres no doubt he has a serious engine in him

Battaash for me too. I wonder if Kalms is permitted for horses with nervy disposition.

I've no view either way , but was watching The Verdict t'other day and Angus and Willo were going about LA being the value at the prices on the figures and crucuially, cuz she's the one with the previous at Ascot!
By:
LA value? She's consistently underperformed lately plus she does not get the wfa allowance this year. Tbf she'd be the one I'd dismiss as a betting proposition. I might do a match bet between Battaash and LA on raceday.

By:
jockey a minus for Battash, no ?
By:
Arguably put up her best performances at Ascot mind
By:
Aurelia has been beaten at odds on in her last 3 outings and will need to do a lot better than she did in her last race at Keeneland.

Bataash is a good sprinter, but a big lay for me tomorrow.
Edgy disposition and occasion could get to him Best form on soft going Only raced at Ascot once finishing way down the field Trainer is out of form Rated 1 lb ahead of Lady Aurelia but has to concede 3 lb Lady Aurelia broke the Ascot 5f record in this race last year Lady Aurelia loves Ascot and good/firm going Velazquez back on board I think Mabs Cross is a good EW outsider, but i will be backing LA and laying Battaash. Good luck |

As in Politics a year in horse racing is a long time, and the performances of Lady Aurelia and Battaash could not have been more different ie the former in decline, the latter in ascendancy,...obviously in my humble opinion.
Personally, two unjustified Gp 1 favourites tomorrow on given form ie Without Parole and Lady Aurelia. |
By:
Apparently Wesley referred to LA as a female bodybuilder.
How does Wesley do it? Answers on a postcard... |
By:
Saw her comeback run and thought she might need one more tune up b4 taking on Battash.
By:
Just a quick one about Wes...he’s gotten a bit cute.
What’s with the runner in the Hunt Cup? That said...Undrafted in the Wokingham might be a good bit of placing. |
By:
Lady Aurelia for me, Battaash needs going slightly soft,Ascot ground staff have been known to mess around with going
By:
Not to mention that poor old Battaash has a 7lb - stone penalty in having Jim Crowley on his back.....

LA value? She's consistently underperformed lately plus she does not get the wfa allowance this year surpassed your normal level of bullsh1t with this one! walofs |

Battaash,...steering job.
By:
Against the grain of this thread but Lady Aurelia for me. Leg one of multi.
By:
lady aurelia will be the biggest loser of the week imo
By:
Battaash is a huge lay.
Conditions wont suit and will most likely ruin his chance before he gets in the stalls. |
By:
Gotta be a chance they will both be each others undoing ?
Blue Point to stay on and pick up the pieces. |
By:
Can only tip and bet Battash once he is out of the stalls.
By:
Battaash for me I know he is in great condition.
By:
Mabbs Cross ew for me
By:
Just got matched at evens on Blue Point in the Blue Point vs Kachy AvB market - I only put the bet up at that price as a bookmark for later, wasn't planning to get matched. Not complaining mind.

And backing Bataash for the main event, and vs LA
By:
Wesley recons Lady Aurelia is muscles on muscles and breathing Fire.

Tree has spoken.
Battash it is then. ![]() |
By:
battaash very relaxed at the start.
By:
you would be relaxed too, with the extra 10 pound off your back (MoneyTree)

By:
No excuses there.
By:
Battash carrying a massive penalty. Crowley
By:
Crowley gave him a good ride imo.
By:
Get in, Blue Point benefits from a suicidal pace. Mabs Cross ran a belter.
By:
domino is correct. Suicidal
By:
Crowley did not have a lot of say in it.....the Horse was tanking.
By:
Wonder what he will say to connections ... Well Gov
