domino14 just texted he layed off in running at 1.51 :-)

Thanks guys, i thought the constant backing for Prabeni was an omen, but i was impressed by the winner LTO as stated. A good turn of foot and he won well today.
I will not have a pop at Domino on his thread as i like his posts, but if that is the 2nd best 3 year old in the Haggas yard as stated, then he can cancel his Epsom tickets. |

Once that horse had run at HQ, most could form an opinion about him, whatever crap was being spouted on the gallops...A typical Teofilo who looked liked he needed a trip.

George, i mentioned in my write up that Prabeni probably wants further. He ran on well at Newmarket (didn't like the dip) but i just felt he was passing beaten horses that were either being given an easy introduction or looking to the future (handicaps). The race tonight was low key of course, but i think Main Street will win much better races in time.
Ghost, correct ![]() What were the other two lays that you were considering? Muzbid (unplaced @ 9.4) ![]() A Smooth Criminal (won @ 11/4) ![]() |

Thanks for all the comments guys, much appreciated.
It appears half of Newmarket backed Prabeni, as well as a few decent posters on this thread, so with respect to the latter, i'm not going to gloat or compile a lengthy post-race essay as I normally do. My post of todays lay and a few subsequent ones are sufficient to see i really liked the winner and with reasoning for the lay, but when i read Dominos' Thursday Trio post and noticed strength of the gamble on Prebeni later, i wondered if i had chosen well, although i was never going to change it, you have to rely on your own judgement and gut feeling. 11/11 successful consecutive daily lays Daily profit £50 Running total profit (11/11) £550 Another lay tomorrow Summary of the 11 lays with finishing position and industry SP as follows : Monday - Washington DC @ 2.60 - 3rd @ 6/4f Tuesday - Cristal Spirit @ 3.25 - 2nd @ 7/2jf (drifted) Wednesday - Scorpion Side @ 2.76 - 2nd @ 15/8 (beaten 31L) Thursday - Getareason @ 2.52 (inc. reduction factor) - 3rd @ 7/4f Friday - Melon @ 3.69 (inc. reduction factor) - fell @ 11/4 Saturday - Mr Adjudicator @ 3.56 (inc. reduction factor) - 2nd @ 100/30 (drifted) Sunday - Sailing Home @ 3.4 - 2nd @ 3/1 (drifted) Monday - Tamkeen @ 3.15 - 5th @ 9/4 Tuesday - Rose Berry @ 3.45 - unplaced @ 7/2 (drifted late on) Wednesday - Swiss Time @ 3.15 - 2nd @ 9/2 (drifted late on due to good money for the fav) Thursday - Prabeni @ 2.96 - 3rd @ 8/11f (backed heavily late on) |
