My point is that you had two of them under pressure, within a length of each other, all out and inexperienced. The one in front had never even seen a racecourse before Saturday, never mind being in that sort of situation. If either of them had been 30l clear, and just asked to pop the last, with no pressure, of course they'd be nearer 1.01. But they weren't. |

Fair enough. We both agree the favourite was too short at 1000.
The only dispute is whether it would have been too short at 10,000. And as you can't lay that price, it's all academic anyway. PS: I'm still not laying anyone 1.05 about horses I think should be 1.05. Good try. |
