Just looked at the form of Cigarisi in the first at Plumpton, 5th at Taunton,there was 68 runners in the field ?

The site is a damn joke, the football section is pathetic.

It's the same everywhere in life. People insist on breaking things that are already working just fine thank you very much.

there are so many factual errors on this site it needs to be taken down immediately

I have had to manually re-enter nearly 200 individual entry links and they are working again. I hope not to have to repeat the exercise. Is there a nag me facility that gives 48 hours notice out there?

Yes, confirmed here that 'sportinglive.co.uk' has been taken down. Perhaps they've responded to the 'take the site down' that posters have requested on here!

all I know now is that will only use the site now for the video replays.  rest is a clutterfook!

I used the old SL website first and foremost for the quick results facility that was on there, but not there (as far as I know) on the new SL website.

This new site is no good to me bye bye

FFS - it would be nice if even the basic stuff worked!

You used to be able to go to https://www.sportinglife.com/racing/results

And then click on Fast Results for a course and see all the results for that course on a single page.

Now, every Fast Results link for every course takes you to the main Fast Results page and the latest results for EVERY course.

Surely a fairly basic requirement for any web site is that the links f****** work!

Can anyone is Sporting life tells us the hardon for racing colours? I dont care what colours the placed horses wore after the race; it is also causing errors in google chrome trying to link to them.

Now live site gone if you go to a race on oddschecker not the prices but horse details below  & click on a horse you get all the  career form site sponsored by 365, no replays but form like the live site was showing until it was taken off.

New site is almost unusable for me, I have already swapped to RP site but that is a joke in comparison to old SL site, nightmare all round, especially with cheltenham just around the corner.

What have they done here? Taken an half serious site and turned it into a dumbed down joke is what.

Unfortunately it's all part of a general trend in racing to put aesthetics (if you like that kind of thing) over functionality and substance.

There has clearly been no consultation with anyone that actually uses the site for anything useful.

We've spent loads of time and money developing this new site and we don't care whether or not you like it.

That is interesting, that page is loading data, and stick a skin over the old sporting life site. However the links go back to bskyb, presumably they own the data behind the old sporting life?

didn't think it would be long before they banjaxed the sporting life live site, that's it then, can't look up old form and watch old races.

If the sportingLIVE (old) site has been taken down to try and force people to use the 'New' site - then that is an utterly awful decision - and smacks of nothing other than both ignorance and arrogance.

They've now put all their eggs in one basket.

ffs where's the simple access to the football league tables on there? I assume it's hidden there somewhere?? Used to be so straightforward...

Sky Sports Racing pages now appear to be the majority of the old sportinglife site, a few things take a bit extra navigation or the links are in different positions, but all seems to be there:

If you want to look up random races from a horse that has a future entry then you can access all its previous runs through that link, but for a random horse that pops into your head that has no entries you are stuck....unless you can think of a horse that it has run against previously that does have an entry and you can get at it that way, it's a bit like 6 degrees of separation.

Don't know why they just don't have the profile search there to use because all the race videos are all there to use if you can get at them.

hopefully sky sports are more open to feedback!

Yes found the profiles now, you have to click into a random horse first to get the profile search box up on the left hand side, don't see a "profile" link in itself anywhere.

Couple of niggly things though, when you get all the form up from a horse it would help if when you hovered over the date it would show up the race details without having to click in and out of each race....I'd take this though

now its on skysports you dont need to.why not make you log in or open a account.dont they want more customers.amazing how these people get paid real money for fooking their businesss up.

@GWiz there is now an arrow facing down that gives the information in your second picture, albeit it it drops down and displays. (I preferred the hover and see as well!)

That has disappeared from what has become a complete waste of time website -

-  and the historic Racecard  Option has not been transferred to SkySports, either.

Once a race has run, and the Full Result is available. The Racecard can be revisited on Sky Sports site

Looks like they have re-introduced it - Facts - as it wasn't available when recently  re-launched -

Same as the 'Hover over' Race type and 'Comments In-Running' facility has disappeared from a horse's Profile/Lifetime History.

The "tooltip" of race comments when you hover over a profile result on Sky Sports site has disappeared to save a bit of bandwidth.

I used the sportinglife website every single day of my betting life, i won't go back to any sportinglife webpage ever again.

First of all thanks for all the feedback following the relaunch of the Sporting Life website.

We continue to act on it and are pleased to confirm a number of features have been restored to the site recently.

These include future entries on profiles, a comprehensive search facility on racing, At The Races video replays on desktop, racecards retained rather than switching to full results, full match clocks on all football matches, a permanent goings and non-runner page, easily-accessed Paper Talk via football navigation – and more.

It’s an ongoing project and in the coming weeks we hope to add fast, printable racecards and an ABC Guide.

Statistics will return and be bigger and better than before and a host of other enhancements across racing, football and all other sports are in the pipeline moving forward.

We’ll keep you posted as and when they become available but thanks again for all the feedback and your patience since the relaunch.  We are working to keep improving the product so please continue to send us your comments to feedback@sportinglife.com

Nice to see one of the sites is listening to our feedback.

They need to do something pretty drastic.

It's not much use at the moment.

How arrogant these people are. If they had posted something like that before starting, and given us a warning to save stuff I would made do for a while and gone back. Feck em.

unfortunately we live in an ever increasing ego driven society, thinking customers might know best does not fit with that

They've corrected a lot of the complaints above. If they have more improvements to come then good. I have all I need.

Sportinglife site now incomprehensible, if they think anyone would pay for the new service they are delusional. I would have considered paying a small yearly fee for the old site with the horse section the way it was, but not this new garbage which is unusable and of not assistance whatsoever. Must be complete imbeciles running the S/Life site, and its usage must have dropped through the floor since the changes were implemented.
