I work for a major bookmaker at weekends in their call centre and yesterday, in my 5 hour shift, i did not take ONE single bet on the winner and the young girl sitting next to me said the same thing.Bearing in mind the phone rang constantly during those 5 hours i find that absolutely remarkable...no doubt there was dancing in the streets of Barking last night

not a bad day in the shop over 2,500 bets not bd stakes either, but not one bet over a £1 for the winner.

I backed Mouse's other runner, and I guess most folk would have thought that had a better chance than the winner.
No wonder owner and trainer didn't know what to say!
