shouldn't be allowed on a racecourse that girl, don't care what ride it is
By:
A power packed ride. Did the winning rider (jockey change) not get told by the way?
Some interesting tactical efforts in behind. |

should never ride in another race, they have to learn but that was pathetic
By:
First ride or not they should throw the book at her
By:
dream lay with pendleton
By:
Trainer should get banned for putting someone as brutally bad up.
People are betting on that. |
By:
she'll come on a bundle for that experience...remember the first cake i tried to bake, a right dog's breakfast it was..but the second was much better..quite presentable in fact (cherry and almond tart, i think)

people weren't betting hard earned money on your cake.
Friday, boys just walked in bookies and bet the last jolly , just to watch that circus of an effort. |
By:
She is a workrider for Mulholland so has plenty of experience, dreadful ride.
By:
she is either the worst jockey to ever have a ride in a rae or she didnt try an inch, one of the two
By:
its not like she woulda been tired the horse travelled beautifully the whole way
By:
I remember my first ride, it didnt last long but even i put more effort than that ;-)
By:
dont think the horse responded to the jockey. it's just one of those things. jockey has a big future.
By:
Her arms didnt seem to work

The horse was going so well, i'm quite sure she must have thought they had another circuit to go, glad it was so short as having her 1st ride prevented me from backing it.
By:
even more annoyed now as had a double with that winner there

By:
Happy with the place.

Is that really "the best" that Miss R Waterson has got??!?? "Inexperienced" first ride or experienced 5millionth ride, that was absolutely pathetic. And with Pendleton's embarrassing effort earlier, it's no wonder women get told to stay in the kitchen with nothing greater than menial chores to occupy them.

By:
Is everyone blind. The horse was hanging.

They deserve to lose , even if it had won they just would of doubled up on the next favs until it had all gone .... |

Race 6 - 5:05pm THE £10 FREE AT 32Red.com AMATEUR RIDERS' HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 6)
The Stewards held an enquiry to consider the apparent improvement in form of the winner, PAO DE ACUCA (IRE), ridden by Will Pettis and trained by Jose Santos, which had never previously been placed. They interviewed the trainer who stated that the gelding had benefited from the removal of headgear and the step up in trip. Having heard his evidence they noted his explanation. They ordered PAO DE ACUCA (IRE) to be routine tested. The Stewards then held an enquiry into the running and riding of BOSTON BLUE, ridden by Miss S A Coll and trained by Tony Carroll, which jumped out slowly and sat at the rear of the field, detached, before being asked for an effort entering the home straight to finish seventh, beaten 23½ lengths. They interviewed the rider and the trainer. They also received two reports from the Veterinary Officer who confirmed that both post-race examinations of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities. The rider stated her instructions were to drop out and to make of the best of her way home from 2 furlongs out and, as the gelding was quirky, she had been told not to use her whip. She added that, due to the fast early pace, she was happy to be detached in last place as she felt the leaders would come back to her in time. The trainer stated these were his instructions and that he was satisfied with the ride given. Having heard their evidence and viewed recordings of the race the Stewards found the rider in breach of Rule (B)59.4 and guilty of failing to take all reasonable and permissible measures to obtain the best possible placing. They suspended her for 12 days on dates to be notified by the British Horseracing Authority. |

I did not see it but judging by the posts it seems she give the horse a bad ride

TBF, you all knew that it was here 1st ride, yet still backed the horse without knowing anything about the jock..
Then when this happens you want her banned... ![]() |

you all knew that it was her 1st ride, yet still backed the horse

Banning Miss SA Coll for 12 days after riding that old dog Boston Blue, yet these same people didn't think an enquiry was warranted when 'muscles' Murphy didn't push Packing out for third place?

lets face it , tomorrow should be a steering job. 4/7 is value in the context of this race.... 4/7 included who was riding it , in this case Pendleton |
By:
the ride on burbridge was lacking in effort wernt it
![]() |
By:
Yes, but she had already had rides and we knew what she was like, they have to get round....
totally different story with the jock at lingfield.... you backed her knowing nothing about her.. |
By:
who backed her...it was totally inept, simple as
By:
you backed her knowing nothing about her..
I didn't back her , your still sore about your embarassment over Pendleton ...... |
By:
Sore ?, dont be childish.. I never had a bet in the race...
The point is, you are complaining about a ride given to a horse by a jockey having here 1st ride.. saying she should be banned... I have heard it all know. |
