I wouldnt bet to those odds TOPMAN, but agree DJ is too short
By:
fav likely winner-price reflects connections.
theatre guide e/w snatch a place after all teh others have tried to keep pace+blew a gasket. |
By:
Made a decision, Wakanda it is. Has done nothing but improve and gets weight of the fav. Can he improve 15lbs ? The Smith`s obviously think so. We will see this afternoon.
Wakanda 20/1 Charmix 7/1 Ziga Boy 8/1 EW patent, wish me luck |
By:
GL, Just cant see wakanda being anywhere near good enough.
By:
Djackadam was 2/5 across all the bookmakers earlier in the week... now 4/5
By:
Djakadam is a good thing
By:
It's a shame this isn't a grade 1 race as the trainer has won every grade 1 race both here and over there in 2016 he has had a runner in. Does make you wonder why he's gone the grade 2 route with this young horse ?
By:
Favs have a hopeless record in this.
Many Clouds looks a nailed on place bet to me. |
By:
during the week if everyone ,now seems to think the fav was a shocking price at 2 to 5 ,why wernt they all getting stuck into the rest at 7,8 to 1 ,plus, your been asked to take half those odds now, betting midweek is now a mugs game most of those at the front of the market drift to bigger prices in almost all the big saturday races
By:
2 to 5 midweek, now 4 to 5 with money back if it loses up to £25[ as a free bet ] with skybet, when did the drift start till 2 to 5 at about 9 o clock last night

FAV THRES TIMES TO CHELT FELL TWICE HORSE SEEMS OK THANK GOD DEFF THINK THIS SMAD PLACE DOESNT GET ENUFF CREDIT
By:
thought many clouds left with race there
but wd winners smad place a much improved horse |
By:
2 great chasers main thing is Djakadam is ok and shakes the market up again.
Vautour more likely to go for Gold now? |
By:
djakadam went off in horse ambulance after rw was concerned
By:
Fingers crossed then
By:
well done, Topman - 1st and 2nd both ran really well but clearly Smad Place has improved a lot - his first Cheltenham win in 7 attempts I think.
Just wonder if Djakadam's fall could be a blessing in disguise with regards to the Gold Cup, the winner looked fine at the finish but a duel up the hill in those conditions might not have done either horse any favours. Many Clouds must have a decent chance in the National again. |
By:
Let us hope there is nothing wrong with him then.
By:
missed that - hope Djakadam is OK.
By:
If Djakadam has gone in horse ambulance then I cannot see him running in the GC.
By:
didn't look like a bad fall and popped straight up? just precautionary maybe? I hope he's ok! Can see a huge plunge taking place on vautour think a lot of people who took the 10-1 and bigger i think after the KG maybe left with a bet they can lay off at 3-1 maybe shorter if WM has a gd week
By:
r5live-rr said horse had slight cut on chest , was just precautionary
By:
gd news
By:
That is ok then , a bit tender for a while perhaps.
By:
I'm just trying to rack my brains on the last GC winner who fell previously?
Did Mr Mulligan fall ? I don't recall to many so obviously not a good sign for connections in my opinion. It's a real shame because he's without doubt a good horse. |

Dawn Run?
