Simonsig is a bottler, would never go past the mighty Bobs Worth
By:
Should be banned for that, fking disgraceful. Either trying to take the pee, or trying not to win.
By:
He just gets worse along with Brian Hughes.
By:
yh he should really have smashed the crap out of horse thats been off for years
By:
Funnily enough he should have held on to him longer.
By:
Not sure what he did wrong ? Horse found absolutely nothing shirley
By:
ha ha , the horse couldn't be bothered
By:
more pocket talking carp.
By:
He didn't need to thrash him, just letting him off a tight reign having throttled him for 2 miles wouldve been enough
By:
great to see it come home though, that type of race is for watching only
By:
Did nothing wrong, asked the horse to go past and it couldn't. Pocket talking of the highest order
By:
Its simple they hardly hardly ever come back
By:
What price did simonsig go ?
By:
The game little terrier beat the classy great dane. Great run by both horses
By:
Spaz ride. Should have let the horse go on when going really, instead it came down to a battle and we all know Bob's Worth can battle hard.
By:
hopefully just fishing or has the mind of a 5 year boy having his first bet

i don't think he's given it a horrid ride (i had backed it small) but despite that I've never got the geraghhty love in at all. he's ok but thats what he is, ok,
By:
he's been a lot worse than that and not without his defenders
By:
*well
By:
Cheers Wes
By:
pocket talking 100pc i backed it but that race cud have been won well before the last , if that was on all the all weather same stable 1-2 there would be uproar
By:
The old boy bobs wort run his race you cant ask for more
By:
horse aint ran in a race for years...heavy ground..it was very free early on..need i go on?
By:
I didn't bet in the race so I can look at it from a neutral position.
By:
slip think his vastly underrated jockey showed why he should be the stable jockey imo
By:
He knew he was holding onto nothing and was hoping the winner would stop. You could see he didn't want to get into a battle so came wide. Bob's Worth was going away at the end. Perhaps the question should be why Brian Hughes was crouched like an American flat jockey instead of actually giving his horse a chance of winning.

best horse won

By:
think we know why it didn't find much , absence/racing freely but think he should have found out a lot earlier, with his hurdle speed against a gold cup winner the race could have been all over from the turn
By:
probably didn't want to give it a hard race. and that's perfectly acceptable, obviously not if you've done your conkers on it but that's apparently one more imponderable you have to factor in before you bet nowadays. and people wonder why young people aren't interested in this anymore.
By:
Was cantering all over Bob's and should have let the horse stride on from 2 out, if the horse tied up and BW came back at him (unlikely because he would have been too far ahead) then you'd accept that the horse was having his first race in a while and leave it at that. Snatched defeat from the jaws of victory IMO.

whipping spot on

By:
id say the giving the leader(and dour stayer) a 20 length start for free and running wide round the bend also giving the winner another 4/5 lengths for free probably cost simonsig the race, but you can't blame him for not being to hard on a horse after such a long time off.

Its simple they hardly hardly ever come back we will see, horse lost the race through pulling like a train after a lengthy lay off, it will be a different proposition next time! |

I'm so glad some of you come on Betfair, please keep using the site
By:
gerraghty politely asked Simonsig to go about his business in a more urgent manner, the response was zilch
By:
why come so wide into the straight?
