As we all know, bookies don't want any customers with any modicum of ability. I'm heavily restricted from the vast majority of bookies, and I think it's time to setup a clean set of accounts in a friends name.

So, how to evade detection?

From a tech point of view, I presume bookies have a way of tracking me on my laptop / phone / work pc and therefore linking the new accounts back to me.

1) Do I need a new pc?
2) Do I need a new internet connection?
3) Do I need a new phone?
4) Is it unsafe to use the new accounts from my work pc?

Really hoping there is a way to hide my identity without going to those lengths...

Also from a punting point of view:

1) Might it be wise to throw a few "mug" bets at the new accounts so that they think I'm useless?
2) If so, what are the best mug bets that the bookies will love, but I can easily trade out of?

What a sad and sorry state the Bookmaking industry is in nowdays.

There must be thousands of us betting in friends and family names.
And the worst of the lot is this place's Sportsbook.....WAFJ

Yes money tree but not for very long, its frustrating opening new accounts as they dont last regardless if you win or not, oddly enough the best online account I've used recently is ladbrokes, they allow liability usually 1k-2k and wont restrict until you have won 3-4k profit and thats even using tipsters such as sir hugh, the most pathetic are boyles/corals/baldy/365 etc, number 1 has to be stan james, their prices are great but once you bite.................................................. you gone

All you need for a new identity to escape most bookmaker's attentions is....

a) a new card, under a new name i.e. your friend/family member's from their new bank account
b) some ip address changing software such as hotspot shield for computer and phone

You must not follow any leading tipsters, and you must not regularly beat sp (although that's practically impossible given how fixed sp is nowadays).

You will then have 3 months max before you need to do it all again.

Blame the media - it's their job to write the truth, but instead they choose to say nothing at all on the proviso that their accounts aren't ever restricted...

Back in the old days when bookies accepted bets they still made an absolute fortune, I know all their profits now come from fobt's but shirley it would make sense for 1 bookie to change their ways and make a killing, we still have the same number of losing punters as we did before, I guess they like the easy lazy way and until such times new laws come into play with regards to fobt's then they will put in the least effort for profit...

Go all in, what you need is to make the accounts look like mug accounts before you start winning (cover the losses by laying back on here).

If you look even likely to win in the long run they will close you down to nothing, sometimes within the first three bets, but they're likely to assume a losing account is going to be beaten eventually, even if it suddenly starts to win...

what i do is use cc cleaner after exiting the browser.
also never have more than one bookmaker or exchange tab on at the same time.

think watching your betting habits is important but if your searching for prices well your gonna have to accept atm that your gonna get closed at some point.

have a good run then always chuck a bit back in silly bets but dont make them too small ...its a bit too obvious.
also dotn bet every day on an account.

make it look like your a casual punter.

going "all in" is a good one also....especially if you have had a few losers in a row on that account.
they love "chasers" and no dount will move heaven and earth to keep a chaser despite their advertising of gambleaware.

Some of it has already been mentioned, but to re-iterate......

a) clear all cookies
b) refuse to accept new cookies when opening each bookmaker account
c) google "iesnare", sometimes called mpsnare, and follow instructions on how to get it off your pc.
d) After each account is opened check for iesnare/mpsnare again, to find out which one's are sharing info.

Remember it's a constant battle to keep your pc clean, and don't let it get to you when they close you down. It's all part of the game. You will have, as Millhouse points out, situations where they close losing accounts, which seems incredible, but take it as a badge of honour.

And most of all, be lucky !

Interesting one this. What's the logic behind it?

what you need is to make the accounts look like mug accounts before you start winning (cover the losses by laying back on here).
What should be my mug bets of choice? Normally I do some big multiples on 365, and thus far it's been helpful as my account is still unrestricted. Multi's are harder to cover on betfair though. Would I be best off just hitting a few favourites hard that I think will lose? (and not taking a standout price?)

Trouble is they will keep taking your bets till you have a big win under your alias  then when you hit them big they will with hold payment .
Yeah I'll make sure that anything with major liabilities e.g. big multiples are done in my name. I'll just do my general day to day single betting on the new accounts, so if they withhold payment it'll only ever be a few grand and not a life changer.

The most bizarre closure I'v had was racebets.com ... I'd placed 3 bets in 12 months with them, all losers. The final straw was a whopping £30 on Tiggy Wiggy for her guineas trial at a very short price. She lost. The next day I got shut down CrazyCrazy

its called Go Mugpare(c)

A website where mugs can auction off their mug accounts to the highest bidder, the type of accounts that only years of mug punting can create. These are the accounts in bookies lists that do not get monitored, these are huge lists as its not feasible to monitor every account, once you reach a certain level of mugness you get into these lists and it takes something spectacular to even get on their radar once you are in these lists. 75% of this forum are in these lists and with another 87% of the forum being restricted winners, it seems like a potential business bonanza. Could live off the commission.

youre talking with zero knowledge whatsoever. if you ever have any winning bets, you presumably have never had any at all, you get limited to 50p stakes. i have accounts with ppower and betfred, the most i can place on either is about £2. even at odds such as 1/10, i wouldnt be able to bet even £10. obviously i never use neither account anymore. b365 actually limit me to £0.00 on everything.
