What a sad and sorry state the Bookmaking industry is in nowdays.
There must be thousands of us betting in friends and family names. And the worst of the lot is this place's Sportsbook.....WAFJ |

Just tried to place a muggy £5 antepost accumulator on league winners with Baldfred. Stake got restricted to 25p, then bet placement failed because apparently 25p is below the minimum :S

It wont work, you need to try something else, even going into shops is a non event as they wil restrict you in there as well, you need to find an edge on here, if you do then you will be fine

I changed internet provider and the new ip addy is a start.
If your friend/family member has not had an account before then you should go undetected as long as at different residence to you. |

joke industry.
regulated by an organisation who also dont give a fk about their discrimination of punters. the GC's job could be done by the fsa in regards to monies held by bookmakers. the industry need a proper regulator with the punter being listened to |

Yes money tree but not for very long, its frustrating opening new accounts as they dont last regardless if you win or not, oddly enough the best online account I've used recently is ladbrokes, they allow liability usually 1k-2k and wont restrict until you have won 3-4k profit and thats even using tipsters such as sir hugh, the most pathetic are boyles/corals/baldy/365 etc, number 1 has to be stan james, their prices are great but once you bite.................................................. you gone

All you need for a new identity to escape most bookmaker's attentions is....
a) a new card, under a new name i.e. your friend/family member's from their new bank account b) some ip address changing software such as hotspot shield for computer and phone You must not follow any leading tipsters, and you must not regularly beat sp (although that's practically impossible given how fixed sp is nowadays). You will then have 3 months max before you need to do it all again. |

ive tried talking to the post but all i got was an article which was based on account restrictions etc in australia...
they dont want to bite their advertisers yet in doing that they are biting their customers by not standing up for us. |

I use cr ap cleaner to tidy up the cookies and such that they leave on the PC.
Is that just like CCleaner? How often do I need to run it? |
|

Back in the old days when bookies accepted bets they still made an absolute fortune, I know all their profits now come from fobt's but shirley it would make sense for 1 bookie to change their ways and make a killing, we still have the same number of losing punters as we did before, I guess they like the easy lazy way and until such times new laws come into play with regards to fobt's then they will put in the least effort for profit...

Trouble is they will keep taking your bets till you have a big win under your alias then when you hit them big they will with hold payment .

the GC was the biggest joke.
they said to me if you have a complaint about such practises you should speak to that bookmakers customer service department ![]() i replied well isnt that a bit like turkeys complaining about christmas ![]() |

Go all in, what you need is to make the accounts look like mug accounts before you start winning (cover the losses by laying back on here).
If you look even likely to win in the long run they will close you down to nothing, sometimes within the first three bets, but they're likely to assume a losing account is going to be beaten eventually, even if it suddenly starts to win... |

In this incarnation of the Racing Post, we are in no way at all the customers, imo... |

certainly seems that way millhouse

G1 Jockey, you only have to read Richard Birch's column in the RFO every week to see that the RP and its publications have total contempt for punters, imo...

what i do is use cc cleaner after exiting the browser.
also never have more than one bookmaker or exchange tab on at the same time. think watching your betting habits is important but if your searching for prices well your gonna have to accept atm that your gonna get closed at some point. have a good run then always chuck a bit back in silly bets but dont make them too small ...its a bit too obvious. also dotn bet every day on an account. make it look like your a casual punter. going "all in" is a good one also....especially if you have had a few losers in a row on that account. they love "chasers" and no dount will move heaven and earth to keep a chaser despite their advertising of gambleaware. |

Some of it has already been mentioned, but to re-iterate...... a) clear all cookies b) refuse to accept new cookies when opening each bookmaker account c) google "iesnare", sometimes called mpsnare, and follow instructions on how to get it off your pc. d) After each account is opened check for iesnare/mpsnare again, to find out which one's are sharing info. Remember it's a constant battle to keep your pc clean, and don't let it get to you when they close you down. It's all part of the game. You will have, as Millhouse points out, situations where they close losing accounts, which seems incredible, but take it as a badge of honour. And most of all, be lucky ! ![]() |

i dont buy the post mate.
apart form the odd article i never found it worth reading. prefer the form book layout online |

Thanks for all the advice guys.
also never have more than one bookmaker or exchange tab on at the same time. Interesting one this. What's the logic behind it? what you need is to make the accounts look like mug accounts before you start winning (cover the losses by laying back on here). What should be my mug bets of choice? Normally I do some big multiples on 365, and thus far it's been helpful as my account is still unrestricted. Multi's are harder to cover on betfair though. Would I be best off just hitting a few favourites hard that I think will lose? (and not taking a standout price?) Trouble is they will keep taking your bets till you have a big win under your alias then when you hit them big they will with hold payment . Yeah I'll make sure that anything with major liabilities e.g. big multiples are done in my name. I'll just do my general day to day single betting on the new accounts, so if they withhold payment it'll only ever be a few grand and not a life changer. |

The most bizarre closure I'v had was racebets.com ... I'd placed 3 bets in 12 months with them, all losers. The final straw was a whopping £30 on Tiggy Wiggy for her guineas trial at a very short price. She lost. The next day I got shut down ![]() ![]() |

were those 3 losers best odds available?
|
|
By:
Thanks.
b) refuse to accept new cookies when opening each bookmaker account How do I do this? And what / where is the 'do not track' option? (Not that I'd trust it mind...) |
|
By:
"do not track" will be in internet options on ie or settings on chrome.
|
|
By:
Can't remember the previous ones but yeah Tiggy Wiggy was best odds available. They think I'm going to piss around arbing an even money shot with a £30 stake?
![]() I'm gonna try to find that RP article you refer to. Let me know the link or the title of it if you can remember |

you will need to email the rp....they photocopied it for me and sent it via email which was quite good of them lol

Don't suppose you still have the email or a copy of the article?

what would you do if there was a proven system operating at 200+ to BSP and on an infinitely upward trajectory long term?
a system delivered, in FULL, on the back of a 100% Guarantee would you make it pay? everyone wasting their time himmin n hawwin when they could just back every single one of my tips and join the MASSIVE GUARANTEED WINNERS CLUB its so ridiculous you cant quite believe it but because it comes from a documented phenomenon it cannot be denied |
