because he was being held by a third party ,. thats what makes this different from other cases,. even if they would look at the rules again because of this,.

When the starter dropped the flag, Grand Jesture had 1 man stood in front of him. The next second another man ran towards him. Given that situation the horse is not going to run forwards.
|

By:
Should be asking Jonny and the handler wtf were you doing in the far corner and not moving forward with the rest..........
|
|
By:
shows how the bha views punters if that is a starter
starter should be sacked |
|
By:
I expected to see the flag man out, as the horse was never in with a chance to race.
|
|
By:
I think they still intended running the horse as they were annoyed that the starter let the field go before they had led the horse in, so I don't agree that the horse was being held back, but at the same time, it clearly never took any part in the race and was probably declared a runner just to pretend that the starter knew what he was doing, as racing regularly closes ranks after a coc up like this.
It should definitely be a non runner as it was given no chance to run because of a pathetic starter. |

In the balance of that is fairness, that was clearly a N/R contemptious old farts put another nail in the game, Absolutely disgraceful .

Have you been refunded by 365? I had 100ew and no sign of any refund in my account. |
|
By:
The horse was being held at a distance from the field - the handler is standing in front of the horse - By any understanding of the rules of fair play the horse should be deemed a non-runner - how can it not be when the horse is being hampered by an outside force - Anyone with big money on sue the course officials - cant see how you can lose - again!

agreed the handler should have been moving the horse forward when he saw the rest of the field walk towards the tape so that did look a bit strange that he wasn't leading the horse in at that stage.

Believe william hills offered a "free bet" over this incident ,with laddies+365 doing similar would suggest BEFORE and after this episode ,that online/phone gamblers use them
for the majority of their bets . |

flat16 you are new here I guess..
I would suppose that your username refers to your Council Accommodation and they have also provided you with a computer... There must be a job available for you in the UK as 250 000 new arrivals each year seem to find one. If that rancid trio offered anyone with a brain a bet there would be three less "Bookmakers" taking bets in a week. |
|
By:
As usual ALL your guesses were wrong ,the key detail if you had read properly was gamblers ,who are
usually accommodated ,not arbers . If your "perception" leads you to judge people by their username ,obviously shows your depth of intellect . |
|
By:
what should happened is that the starter admitted his error and it was deemed a non runner with deductions.
Issue over but the dinosaurs who run racing would rather we all laughed at them. |

Flat16 must "work" in the Industry..
He is yet another that claims that all winners are arbers.. "Gamblers are usually accommodated not arbers".. That fella is the usual way to punctuate not with a comma and an inability to make yourself clear.. You are a complete minimum wage half-wit that on a normal forum would not be allowed to post... Get yourself a real job but if you live in Stoke that rancid mob will promote you to minimum wage plus a shilling very soon.. WHERE DO THEY GET THEM FROM... |

Indeed, but some of them are far too arrogant to allow that to happen. The BHA quick to blame jockeys for messing up starts, but some of these starters seem to get a free pass. The one at Southwell last Friday is one that springs to mind, one race in particular where he lets them go whilst they're spread all over the track, and one almost stood sideways. |
