Further, and detailed analysis, of the site's erratic performance has led me to conclude that ...

the problem is due to the Cheltenham festival being held at the same time of year as the clocks going forward. Although the IT dept is staffed with straight A students (Apless, Awful and Ar$eholes), it has finite resources.  The head if IT has to prioritise, and so the planning work for the clocks going forward has to take priority, and there's only 2 weeks to go.

So, next year, I propose that we put the clocks forward in late May, when the racing calendar is less frenetic.

Don't know how they can honour in-running bets if the whole of the race isn't available in-running...

tbf if you back it then add the lay price and keep it,the facility is there.The outage comes with the territory, it has done for years.It isn't a recent phenomenon, Saturdays at 3pm, huge Race meetings, WC finals.......Or just let it run, you know the probability of downtime or inaccessibility is there. How many moaning have been in the same situation more than once,twice or thrice?
