I agree with madhatters...rules are rules and if some on here haven't bothered to read and understand them they cannot have any justifiable complaint if they are penalised for breaching them. Indeed if penalties are not applied for breaking the rules we will be in a state of anarchy and George will be obliged to act like a dictator to keep everyone in order.

The rule quoted is for nons after deadline is it not ? not before so should be no problem . General George has already covered it with his common sense "ensuring fair play" policy and has the final decision on all such matters . its for him to clarify rule interpretation . |

Some leeway was granted & common sense applied the inspection one was not meant as a free for all for posting reserves George had 128 hairy arsed posters (some even women) to settle No 1 rule - George runs comp  |

If you have a NR and your opponent hasn't selected your intended replacement, then yes you are free to change it any time before racing starts. |

hollyday, please see my post at 13.55.
NRs can only be changed before racing starts. The reason for asking that all selections be posted before racing gets under way is so that people can't then select when knowing the outcome of some / all of their opponent's picks. |
