He is out on parole, he has not yet served his sentence. I can only see Oldham losing very badly out of this. Sponsors will run a mile.

The conviction was jubious,imo.
He is a footballer not a baby sitter.
Are all footbellers a glowing example to our youth?
Lunacy to stop him from earning a living in this field.

Ched Evans convicted of rape. Stefan Kiszko convicted of murder.Innocent! Timothy Evans convicted of murder.INNOCENT AND HANGED. Just because a jury returns such a verdict is no proof that a person is actually guilty of that crime. Personally I believe the screaming for blood activists need to get real. They are nothing short of stupid. Ched Evans still protests his innocence. Would you bet your life on him being guilty? Think carefully.

Roy,
If you read the Court transcripts you may well think that he is not a nice person but reasonable doubt exists at the very least, imo.

You obviously didn't get my post RS. Unless the Court Transcripts contained the word 'jubious' then the joke's on me!

A different jury may well have returned a different verdict,Kembo.
Whatever, should a professional footballer be prevented from earning a living because of this conviction?

Good to see oldham having gonads to offer him a contract

The case is far from black or white as some think..its odd that so many folk are so up in arms over it..football is dominated by greed and corruption but yet all of a sudden its made up of role models and the high horse brigade

But i do lol at all the tory or labout politicans saying there oppose this..the irony behind them judging is fantastic

Good evening Racing old chap. I am in your camp. I am of the opinion that he is not guilty of rape. As far as I am concerned, the female in question returned to a room under no illusions. There was no evidence of any struggle , no evidence of any force being used and if she thought she was going back for coffee my name is Horseburger! As for Ched Evans? I don't know if he is a decent bloke or not. I do think however that he should be able to resume his career just like any other person who has served a sentence.

As "the woman in question" was utterly wrecked by her drink intake it is unlikely she actually knows what really happened.
A sad state of affairs,imo.

Roy,
You are correct.
Just how would anybody defend themselves of an "historical rape claim" made against them?
