Sorry, 5 G1 races between 10/11f.

I included his final race which was of course the Breeders Cup Turf over 12f, but which probably equates to an 11f race due to the sharpness.

Did you even see the horse run? Everything you're writing is clearly regurgitated written words.

hippie he struggled to beat a 113 rated horse that day, do you think it ran to form ?

Kalanisi never beat it again over 10f. Why concentrate on the race it runs below par than on the 5 G1 victories since?

By the way yes i saw it run, did you see any  of the G1 victories or was it just the Eclipse when it ran flat?

He was named United States Champion Male Turf Horse, European Horse of the Year and European Champion Older Horse in 2001.

Yet hippie wants to judge him when below his best.

Ran flat? He was out of his depth, that's why he ducked the International Stakes and the Champion Stakes (won by Kalanisi) that year. Kalanisi, who was the better horse, beat him a month later over 12f at Churchill Downs.

Out of his depth??LaughLaugh

Not at his best you mean hippie, or are you confused? only one one horse out of that race reached a mark of 130, yes you know which one hippie.

By the way did you see the Breeders Cup and how Fantastic Light was hampered? Interesting that Kalanisi couldn`t get within 2L of Fantastic Light after these 2 races hippie.

You need to brush up mate.

European Champion Older Horse in 2001. - out of his depthCry

Kalanisi (U.S. Champion Male Turf Horse and European Champion Older Horse in 2000) was injured in the Prince of Wales Stakes that Fantastic Light won and retired. But you already knew that. Wink

If you're going to pass off book-learning as personal experience at least know your stuff.

Injured like Canford Cliffs after finishing once again behind Fantastic Light rated 130

Of course without the injury to Kalanisi, i guess you would have the higher rated Fantastic Light(United States Champion Male Turf Horse, European Horse of the Year and European Champion Older Horse in 2001).....as.....

OUT OF HIS DEPTHLaugh

Keep it real hippie and stay of that sh1tWink

when was he rated 130?
By:

That`s how he will be remembered hippie, OR 130.

Yet you believe he was out of his depth against a horse with a OR of 126.

How does that make you feel about your race reading? How can you argue at 01:39 in the morning that he was  out of his depth?
By:

When: 15 Sep 14 01:42

Yet over 10/11f he won 6 G1 races from the age of 4. Nothing beat him, Kalanisi couldn`t get within 2L.

He was the best 10f horse around. A Champion.

In the 2000 International Classification Kalanisi was assessed at 126 and Fantastic Light at 124 (both aged 4) and you're telling me to keep it real.

Is that how you remember horses, as numbers? Laugh

In the 2001 International Classification Fantastic Light was assessed at 129 (equal with Galileo).

as for the time - Chicago are playing San Francisco.

From the age of 4(barring the eclipse of course) !!!!

That includes his 5 year old career you wally!Laugh - he reaches 130. How can you say he was out of his depth?

Who was the better horse Kalanisi or Fantastic Light? go on hippie have a stab. It should be easy as you have already said Fantastic Light was out of his depth!Cry

You seem to be confusing yourself with these ratings. You can't impose his future higher rating retrospectively on past races.

If he wasn't out of his depth why did he go globe trotting rather than contest the International and Champion Stakes? According to you he was the champion and nothing could touch him.

Kalanisi was always the better horse.

There could be many reasons why they went globe trotting hippie. Considering they took Kalanisi on twice more and beat him twice is hardly a team ducking your horse is it?

They went for the KG and then the Man O War, advertising the horses credentials in America has plenty to do with business hippie, plus the horse loved fast ground was there a potential for rain at York? can you remember?

Just a reminder that Fantastic Light is the leading European money earner of all time on $8,486,957.
4th in the all time Global earners behind Curlin, Cigar and Skip Away.

A real Champion.Wink
