Out of all of them Anne would easily be my choice to beat. She's as bad as Judith from Eggheads who is completely clueless. |

Bobs Worth - Trier
Viking Flagship - Trier One Man - Would have farmed the Ryan Air chase, if it had Grade One status back then. Dawn Run - First jump race I remember watching was her Gold cup and it hooked me. Suny Bay - Sir Peters final commentary on the Henessey he won and his Grand National battle with Earth Summit was legendary. Earth Summit - That slog in the Grand National with the above, respect. Moorcroft Boy - A phoenix from the flames, I think he would have won the English national if it wasn't for that near fatal fall. Marlborough - Quirky but very talented hcapper, wanted him to win a Gold Cup but my head knew he wasn't quite good enough, 4th I believe. Gloria Victus - His Racing Post Chase victory was one of the most outrageous jumping displays I have ever seen. |
|
By:
PugMunter - re age, its a fair question. I'm 62 and a lot of the horses mentioned on here were at their peak when I was aged 11 (Mill House) to 13/14 (Baulking Green etc). Not sure if we matured earlier in racing terms in those days or just had less to think about. Mind you I'd "Cidered with Rosie" by Pendil.
