I see there is a free to air ATR on 7E that is the exact same content as sky ATR but 4 secs in front

They're a rancid organisation. The sooner they lose the rights to most tracks the better.

Remember ATR wouldn't even acknowledge exchanges for years, was it around 2006 where they changed tact and started mentioning them?
IR isn't associated with bookies but with exchanges so why would bookies want you having opaquely disguised subscription pics to use IR?
It certainly ain't the tech since that proves it was their end product on 7e.
Without anybody getting the truth from them all that can be devised is that they dish up delays as standard to the British customer.....and their sponsors sell loans at ridiculous rates following the last race that you just lost it on.

In 2011 the gap increased to 2.2 seconds.
The latest increase in "Delay" increased it to 4.2 seconds and has been in place for some time.
Compare ATR (7.0 seconds behind live) with RUK who have reduced their delay to being 1.0 second behind live.
Amazingly,you still get cretins on here bleating about the monthly fee for RUK.

The question here is, should ATR/sis be allowed to farm rights to nearly half of British racing, when they are an amalgamation of bookies that profit from keeping the poor losing, selling on sponsors odious loans and advertise both their product as free (when it's part of a subscription package) and their pictures as 'live' when they clearly start out as that then become 'recorded'?
Since we are talking about a vehicle associated with betting, that's is idiots in my book.
Compare to ruk who ostensibly are a tv channel that covers racing, they supply more to the tracks and have a vesting interest not in bookies winning but in their clients (the customer) being able to pay a subscription.

The fact that the delay on ATR is just swept under the carpet is a total disgrace.
This delay is there on purpose. They should not be allowed to promote our sport with their rancid channel
