I THINK it was Panorama. It was certainly Richard Dimbleby. He did things like the Coronation and Churchill's funeral so his gravitas helped fool a lot of people.I imagine it was the late 50s. I sort of fell for it,whilst finding it a bit odd,but I had the excuse I would have been very young. A lot of adults fell for it hook,line and sinker. Tbf spaghetti was still quite exotic as far as most people in this country were concerned.
