Okay I personally don't get this next market at Nottingham.

Bill Turner is shrewd, the other day Micks Your Man bombed out badly up at Musselburgh, trainer stated after the race, the horse doesn't seem to want to try since his injury and will now be gelded.

Instead of that action he's slapped on the blinkers, and upped it to 6f. Ran to 89 RPR prior to the poor run the other day. If the blinkers work he is on par the best horse in the race.

Two questions, why run it again so quick if the decision was made to geld.

Secondly, did they whack the blinkers on it the morning after that race and see such improvement they thought before gelding him lets run him in blinkers.

If the horse shows no improvement it has no chance, so why is it running, if it's the latter he's deffo worth a tenner at a big price.

The added  conundrum here is ...

One of MICK EASTERBY's long-standing owners - Steven Hull - bought the horse as a FOAL for 10,000 Gns in Nov 2011

Hence the name .... MICK'S YER MAN

It would appear that - he may have decided to try and PINHOOK it, the following November, at the YEARLING Sales.... Looks like 'No Takers' - as Steven Hull 'bought it in' for 21,000 ( Reserve?)

Between then, and the Brocklesby - it was 'Privately' sold to Mrs Tracy Turner - and went to be trained by Bill Turner.

When interviewed, on Channel4, at Doncaster - Mick Easterby appeared to intimate that he still had some 'part-ownership' interest in the horse.
