if Salutation manages to run again off 90 this weekend (he's entered in a few races) he really ought to gag up, I reckoned he ran to about 102 in the race at Glorious Goodwood so he's chucked in. Will you trust him?

Don't think anything has changed wee eck, arrogance is something rarely lost or relinquished, ego has grown beyond all proportion but that is down to the media circus as much as him, think there are a large number who would like MJ to be taken down a peg or two

iIf you read between the lines I am not sure the Establishment are too fond of MJ, he is certainly fairly outspoken, I think i he puts a foot wrong they would be down on him v quickly,, been innuendo for years about his vet skills with a syringe, feck all ever proved.

I dont follow his horses in general but i do watch his stable tour and keep an eye on his fancies, in general i think he targets the big money handicaps at goodwood and ascot wif the run of the mill stuff, he has always stated that his aim each season is to get as far up the trainers table as possible.

I never back or lay his favourites though cant usually get to grips with them.

I stopped betting MJ`s horses. Good trainer but I just can`t catch him when he wins and all those shorties always seem to get beat. His runners should carry a Health Warning.

I haven't backed or layed any of his horses for the last 5 years or so. I just ignore his runners completely. If he has a winner in a race I play in then it's never mind and move on.

Not sure about the 'establishment' not liking him. The media never challenge his opinion on anything and the BHA will no doubt be very pleased that he 'helps' punters money stay in the game.

He occasionally used to get challenged on his forum and the usual response was for him to lose his rag. It really was a case of his opinion, like it or lump it.
