the barrenness starring us ahead, only flat racing to get us through
I hope Gamcare are on full alert...how do you survive the yawning chasm in your life that is jumps racing?

Tomorrow's start of the 2013/14 seems so far away, and only the three meetings to kick it off...20 hours of pure hell to get through first though!

I dont follow the flat stuff but that Frankel must be due out soon, he shaped like a hell of a Triumph Hurdle horse, just waiting to be shown some timber, everything he did on the level must have been a hell of a bonus for the owners before he starts proper at the game?

why don't they just make it a continual season and then McCoy can be Champion forever.

The whole jumps pantomime should be put away in an airtight soundproof padded cell until about september.
The winter now is just one long slobbering nicky, micky, dicky, choc, the festival, ayypee, oooh the festival, timmy, nicholls this nicholls that, THE FESTIVAL lovefest blablabla etc

C4's video montage review of the season before spoke volumes. Think there was 3 races shown that happened before the Festival, 1 of which was in Ireland

Cheltenham is the climax of the season,Aintree follows. Every Saturday from the beginning of November the programme supplies races that steadily build towards this.I'd like the odd good race to be run midweek as used to be the case.Apart from that I've no complaints.

If any brain dead twaat suggests a gap during the early part of May I'll shoot the phuucker!

The ground is perfect at this time of year for jumping. The ludicrous bringing forward of the end of the season to April is a non profitmaking marketing ploy.

If they want to go out with a high class bang that isn't the Horse & Hound Cup at Stratford, then they can move the Sandown finale to the end of May, getting out of the way of the Classic trial flat meeting and, more importantly, avoiding a clash with Punchestown.

I'd like to see a return to the old close season. I know it will never happen though. Sad
