There were 43 races today and BFF decided there was an "edge" in all of them.
Need I say more,Kafir?

I think a sane individual who genuinely believed that their 'system' was worthwhile would restrict to maybe what 5 selections a day? where the figures give them the best chance of making a profit overall. It really is the mark of a rank amateur to select 2 in every race and somehow believe that this will by some miracle produce a profit.

I think b/f's problem may be

that he is trying to impress a forum of mostly experienced gamblers..who have been backing
horses for years with varying degrees of success...so there is strong probability they know considerably more about horse racing than he does...
so of course it is not really working..hence the ridicule and abuse

Also I have no idea how he generates his ratings...so in any one race what logic he has used in making his
selection

. Not everybody does this of course, but it is usually possible to see where they are coming from,
there is some logic there, even if tenuous...rather than just a blind guess

Still b/f has the solution in his own hands....put more winners, particularly good price ones!
I would then follow him

Ebul, on his previous thread to this one the one he closed and ran away from after 3 1/2 weeks of losses, here's the stats for 1st 11 days after that I gave up,

183 races
203 selections
169 losers - 83%
34 winners - 17%

and here's the revealing bit,

Of the 34 winners, 23 (68%) were favourite, and of the 34 winners, 7 (21%) were odds on favs.

He's doing exactly as I said, picking the fav and a mid priced runner and hoping, thats why he's posting at the last minute, he's glued to Oddschecker, to get the latest.

In monetary terms,

£203.00 staked
£65.91 LOST (33%)

without the favs winning he'd be dead in the water and you can't see this, there's no logic, just throwing darts.

the same as me then

I wouldnt pay GTG to do my accounting if my life depended on it, complete lies with P/L dragged
from my last thread at ISP when clearly the formulations carried two errors FFS...

Today didnt go too well either but I havent adjusted the formulations yet to the correct
set up using the corrected formulations but I am up all night sorting this out by
looking at thousands of races to recalibrate and set up the application correctly..

you had 63 runners yesterday and 75 runners today

TOTAL 138 AND YOU'RE ONLY SHOWING A 100 RUNNERS,

WHAT'S THE REASON FOR THIS PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IS THERE NO DEPTHS YOU WON'T SINK TO IN ORDER TO FOOL/SCAM PEOPLE

KNOW I KNOW YOU'RE A COMPLETE BASKET CASE

By:

GandalfTheGrey When: 26 Apr 13 04:41

jumps now being recorded seperately in order to deceive, split my losses into two, then nobody will be able to add them together, but on the rare occasions you show a profit for the day, they are never split but shouted all over your thread by you

By:

GandalfTheGrey When: 26 Apr 13 04:44

complete lies with P/L dragged
from my last thread at ISP when clearly the formulations carried two errors FFS...

according to you this thread fixed "your imaginary errors" yet we still await a profit on this or any other thread you've ever started.

By:

Captain Christy When: 26 Apr 13 07:49

I think the most revealing comments he has made are his constant references to Adrian Massey who did charge (though profits went to charity). He clearly thinks that with the demise of Massey that there is a gap in the market, but obviously his 'ratings' are totally useless and it will take someone with more than a cursory understanding of the game to get anywhere near Massey.

By:

racingstar When: 26 Apr 13 09:47

Current P&L noticeable by its absence from BFF.
"Amazingly" he finds the time to show reams of "what you could have won aftertime nonsense".
An utter Con Man who should be banned from here.
Never mind,he is losing in excess of 190 Points in less than a month.
Where can we sign?

By:

Dr Gonzo When: 26 Apr 13 10:25

Also I have no idea how he generates his ratings...so in any one race what logic he has used in making his selection

No-one does. Notice how evasive he becomes when anyone asks him a reasonable question about how he has come up with a rating.

This rubbish about a 'problem with his formula' for horse no. 3 on each race card is a perfect example. This was apparently the reason why he rated Sanctuaire higher than Sprinter Sacre, but he is yet to answer why this would be the case when neither wore number 3.

...

after fixing the 2 major bugs I couldn't wait to see what the app would make of the last 2 days raced on the flat as I haven't get updated the jumps workbook.

...

I will reinstate mdpm for today's racing and of course I will keep the current thread goings with its profit and loss but I wont be adding the profit and loss from the last thread as clearly it was based on gross formulation errors due to comparing an extra racing column the pre-mentioned improvement quanta...

25 Apr 13 04:40

Thanks gandalf but I already am aware of the mistakes and the corrections have now taken place...

bf_fananatic
26 Apr 13 03:59

Today didnt go too well either but I havent adjusted the formulations yet to the correct set up using the corrected formulations but I am up all night sorting this out by looking at thousands of races to recalibrate and set up the application correctly

You would have far less abuse if you just stopped trying to impress people b/f
Life is one hell of a lot easier if we forget about our egos

I think you are attempting the impossible tbh
horse racing will not yield to your type of analysis.

WELL DONE

Perhaps you will stop lying, aftertiming, closing threads to hide losses forward, include commission and add your cumulative large losses to any P & L you post in the future. I know this won't happen, but just to make you see until you do so, you will always be seen as underhanded, to put it nicely, again well done. Open and Honest gets respect.
