theressomepratsonhere - Correct!. Proximity to Plumpton/Fontwell irrelevant. Brighton's thin layer of top soil on solid chalk not likely to stand up well to this winter/spring.

blackbarn not so sure about that as it is downland turf and the roots should go very deep, unless artificial watering has ruined the roots

might just be because that horrible company which runs the course via a lease think this is more profitable

and if it were blown up, I would miss the track a huge amount, part of my formative years

I'm an annual member and live in Sussex and it took me until looking for Thursdays runners last night to find out it had been abandoned.
They are quick enough to send info by post or E-Mail for special offers so why nothing on this?
