for those in a hurry a double on the favs

What do you think will win them then?
Will this be another question ignored |

Just laugh at the fool Koi
Everyone else does |

Koi, I don't know why you take the bait from your nemesis each time. Just ignore it. I for one (of many) are very grateful for your opinions and write ups so keep up the good work. For what its worth I have about 4 horses in front of Marky Bob - the only reason it ran so well at Bangor, was because it was ridden by "Yorky". It will be going the "wrong" way round tomorrow and with a different Pilot. It won't complete - I'm sure. Anyway one of us will be right and the other wrong !! It should be about a 5 or 6 to one chance ... we shall see.

John, yes she did, stood in for Gina,,
lumponlarge Going RH will not be a problem for MARKY BOB, Hacked up in both its points at COTTENHAM & TWESELDOWN...both RH..GL |

Got three runners and one of them isn't Marky Bob. Got the other race right but he is 1/2 fav

Ran and jumped like a drunk camel at Cottenham and finished 4th you mean

You backing the double Koi?
|
|
By:
Thanks for the previews koi. An interesting read as always. Good luck.
|
|

20 hours before the races the previews is up, absolutely clueless.
FWIW marky bob all but ran off the track at cottenham ( similar to winc in many ways) jumping so violently left it nearly went in the lorry park going past the stands, i couldnt back it if you payed me win or lose. Ive come to one of 2 conclusions koi, you work during the days or are on an ego trip. Why put your tips up the night before, its plain daft |
|
By:
have to agree with roo, surely koi you'd be better off getting your bets on and then posting. What if you were to spot something about a horse running in a point that you felt sure the market/bookies wouldn't pick up on, it would be lunacy to post about it before getting your money on.
|
|
By:
Good luck today koi, very interesting as always.....I see a couple of people don't agree ?? I notice non of them have put up what they think will beat your selection, they're just happy to be negative why don't they add something constructive instead of just knocking someone who clearly knows the game ???
And roo.....surely as you don't think Marky Bob has a chance, koi has done you a favour posting early, sure to get you a better price on yours, which is ?? oh you don't say, perhaps you'll be on to tell us what it was after the race ?? |

roo,
Koi is in profit on his Hunter Chase selections so his previews are welcome. Why use words like 'clueless' 'ego trip' 'daft' in your post ? Lumponlarge disagrees with koi's thoughts on Marky Bob, but, has responded in a positive manner. |
|
By:
1st time poster - last week you said you wouldn't post on any of kois threads, why can't you just keep to your word or at least out something up against him (remind us what happened last time you done this)?
Koi is in profit on hunters year on year, so what if you don't agree with the selection that is the point of a forum. But to just come on and slate a losing selection AFTER the race is just shocking. I couldn't care if every pick is fav or 2nd fav, the bottom line is profit. All I see from some on here I jealousy and envy. People just hate a winner, who can blame Kohaku for going, who can blame the good blokes leaving? To all the knockers PUT UP OR SHUT UP, and leave the sly digs out. I wouldn't blame koi if he didn't post another selection up - why bother when the likes of 1st time poster are around, who brings absolutely nothing to this forum. A very sad and bitter individual who probably don't have a friend in the world.... |

Holywell, any person who puts up his fancys the night before is either an idiot or on an ego trip, its hard enough to get 3 or 4 hundred quid on at 10-15 race day when the vermin have priced up let alone 9pm the night before.
Its total lunacy. |

I remember watching Marky Bob at Tweseldown (lovely course, closed ths year) and the conections were just hoping that it would race, having refused previously. Blew the field away and was even more impressive next time at Fakenham. Not sure that Wincanton is the right course for it, but if it runs like it can from the front then I doubt if anything will get near it. I had Quedillac as a doubtful stayer, but was proved wrong in a strange Ladies race at Larkhill (with Description's jumping all over the place). Quedillac is a hold up horse and I can't see those tactics working if MB blazes away. The one everyone seems to overlooking is Jayo, who has some decent form a few years back and finished a decent 2nd in his first point. I'm not in betting mode, but Jayo seems value to me at 9.0 ish.
Enjoy the race. |

Did you enjoy the weather that day, REM ?? that was as bad a day as ive ever been in out in.
|
|
By:
roo....i'm guessing what your are soo politely trying to say to koi is, by putting his views up so early, this is allowing the little people without knowledge of hunter chases to get on the horses that you fancy and this is interferring with you betting.
|
|
By:
I seem to remember that was the day that snowed. Damn wet cold snow.
I was frozen at Badbury this weekend and Larkhill has been grim this year too. I now have a car full of different hats and gloves and just keep upgrading as it gets colder. When I can no longer look at the race card or my form notes I brew up and start the process all over again. Of course when the fine weather arrives the ground dries and the horses stay away. Good to Firm at Badbury on Sunday. Hoping for some rain to prolong the season. |

koi,no matter what your profit is showing, you,ll always get knockers and time wasters.i value your opinions but at the end of the day,i make my own decisions.i posted a thread on the rugby forum about a couple of offers available,1 poster came on asking for prices for chelt, the 4 horse he asked for i offered him top prices, did he open an account,no.no matter what you do mate, you will always get the helmets having a pop at you.so keep up the good work and as kojak said, who loves you baby.

Roo
I work. Usually out at 4.30am .bed for9.00pm. Post them up when I can...never know what time I'm getting in. If it's a problem i will not bother! Get too much hassle anyway |
|
By:
perhaps it is better if we all go and stand in the middle of the course with our blue winter coat on / jeans / walking boots/ racing post in pocket / wooly hat on / ear plugs in attached to phone in pocket talking to our friends giving in runnig commentary and laying fallers at 66 or whatever price it is eh roo
Each to their own son, each to their own |

I am surprised at people on here carping on about Koi, to me he is as good
a judge of PTP running as Kohaku was and he should be applauded by all for the way he presents and sums up Hunter Chase races. I reckon if he carries on with his selections in the same vein he will finish up 40+ point up at level stakes. The best of luck to him. |
|
By:
Koi, surely it is better for you if you don't post these previews, unless you think that others feel your views are worthless so won't take any notice of them, which would make the previews pointless anyway? By posting this information, you are giving people a head start on you to nibble away at the price the night before, as you said you only use firms. Therefore, you are causing yourself to obtain a lower price than you might otherwise have been able to obtain, making your posting of previews a negative action. IMO, unless you wait until 11-12 on the day to post your previews, you are harming yourself.
I think that's the slightly kinder way of putting what Roo said. |
|
By:
koikeeper.....you say that you are getting too much hassle but the truth is everyone of your threads gets over 1500 views, from this you get a few negative posts, mainly from 1 big idiot, a couple of smaller idiots and a few point to point judges who are getting their knickers in a twist because they think they deserve all the honey.you got to do what you want to do and I hope, like , i'm guessing 99% of all the other viewers, that you carry on posting.
|
|
By:
I agree jb
|
|
By:
JB, you forget that by posting the night before, Koi might be costing himself extra quantities of honey that he could otherwise have collected. It's all about executing a plan to score as much honey as possible for yourself.
|
|
By:
Read the posts, and take in the information !!! koi has already said that due to work commitments he posts when he has time !! get over it ...
|
|
By:
I'm just pleased to have informed opinion to base my bets on. Koi's opinion is always welcome, as confirmed with others above. Thanks for making the effort - it's much appreciated.
My opinion is Quedillac and Penmore Mill. Good luck anyone punting. |
|
By:
Salut-Flo.....I totally agree koikeeper deserves all the honey he wants, but if he wants to share a little honey with a few less knowledgeable and fortunate.....why not ?
|
|
By:
As it happens, today I got an early finish lol, so could have posted up later...but Penmore is a drifter anyway by the looks of it.
|
|
By:
koikeeper.....posting earlier or later,do whatever suits you,not what suits others.....but keep posting.

By:
For years I have put post up the night before/morning..it has never bothered me, still managed to back the horses at the price I wanted.
Roo you seem to have a lot to say, but NEVER reply to anything I ask...do you think you are better than anyone else on here? |
|
By:
roo and wizard......there are many threads every night with people putting up there fancies for the next day.....I havn't seen you posting insults to these posters but because koikeeper is GOOD at what he does posting on hunter chases you take umbrage, its not about Koikeeper, this is all about yourselves, what you think you are losing due to koikeepers write ups.

£100 min bet? Even just getting an extra quarter point here and there makes all the difference. Surprised you aren't that bothered about maximising your profit considering how much effort you put in to your previews.
All the best though Koi, you don't have to put the time in to give your thoughts - something which has almost evaporated from the forum - but you do. |
