ive put me neck on the line many times on this forum -went into your comps rose thru the ranks and won the damn thing and then retired straight away -all the while the knockers called me and said i was p1ssed la la la and yet i was still able to pick winners -despite many attempts to get Giggsy to enter one of these comps he has failed to do so -so you see i feel i have the right to blow my own trumpet and to highlight the failings of other people who have never had the balls to come to the table on a public forum and put up a winner pre race -hands up anyone who has seen Giggsy put up something pre race in betfair land -dont think its ever happened and yet he comes on here "afterwards" and bigs it up

P.S I recently rejoined the your comps section of the forum cos me ego was so big(and becos ive got Mr Arnold on me side) that was in December of last year and i told Reged at the time that i gave myself a year to get back in the premiership -well guess what after 4 mths the pressures on as i sit here in 2nd place in Division1 so send me a pm a good hour before it runs with Giggsys nap lol

Did anybody else see the head on of Brown Pete's race today? I must say its well worth a view, Martin Harley 'going' for him in the straights hilariously awful, and when he 'gives' the horse one with the stick, ive not seen such power in a stroke in a long time

The Stewards held an enquiry into the running and riding of BROWN PETE (IRE), ridden by Martin Harley and trained by Violet M Jordan, which finished seventh beaten 5½ lengths having appeared to be tenderly ridden. They interviewed the rider and the trainer’s representative. They also received a report from the Veterinary Officer. The rider stated his instructions were to drop BROWN PETE (IRE) in, get the gelding to switch off, and win if he could. He added that having dropped the gelding in in a slowly run race he then found himself short of room on the rail as the race developed into a sprint catching his mount flat footed. The trainer’s representative confirmed these instructions stating he was happy with the ride given. Having heard their evidence and viewed recordings of the race the Stewards noted their explanations.  |
