she'd be fined an arm and a leg in India, she'd lose an arm and a leg in Jordan.

Could be a very long thread as this rate!
Daniel Thomas has to have a good chance in a very bad race, but wouldn't expect any skuldugary from this horse.

I just emailled the ATR studio asking what Bob Cooper thought of the ride on Daniel Thomas. It hasn't been read out, but interestingly I have had a reply.

After Fairy Wing wins on Saturday over 6f, a shade cosily to my eyes, Steven Arnold tells us that he definitely is better over 7f or a mile. So next run over 5f today, and it drifts like a barge all morning.

I might be wrong, but i dont think it looked short of pace on Saturday and travelled into the race better than anything else. Another example of them being economical with the truth??

Ive come to the conclusion either they are really really clever or actually dont know what they are doing.

21st December...

The Stewards held an enquiry into the reasons behind the five non-runners from Violet M. Jordan’s yard. They interviewed the trainer’s representative and the rider. The trainer’s representative stated that all their seven runners were booked in to travel with Nigel Hardy Transport. However, when informed that the lorry had broken down, they were reduced to one, 2-horse, box, and had to declare five horses as non-runners. Having heard their evidence and viewed recordings of the race the Stewards referred the matter to the British Horseracing Authority for further investigation.

Lorry broken down again?
