the problem with a martingale sytem is... sooner or later you will have a losing sequence of 10 horses, in fact quite longer sequences It probably works best with odds on shots  but you still need to be a very good judge your staking can increase alarmingly when you try to recover previous losses I think such a system should be avoided at all costs still just my imo |

As already mentioned, mathematically , the system is flawed.
Success will come from good handicapping and so you should consider developing whatever methods you use to produce your selections |

having followed this fred it strikes me that O.P is working on the fact that if you have a bottomless pit of money then sooner or later you will get a winner but iam not sure to many people on here are in that position but if it works for him then good luck but its not for me

i can assure you of that,in fact you only need a bank of 2k on the other hand you could start with a smaller bank and just scale it down. its all about selections if you cant pick a winner before the bank goes then imo your in the wrong game good luck to you also |

One thing you are all forgetting is that OP has an inbuilt edge in his system. If a horse loses at < 3-1 he hasn't backed it, if it wins he "got a price" earlier. Oh and he isn't backing the horses anyway. (If I'm wrong about that OP can easily go to his account and cut and paste all his bets in the thread)

"its all about selections" yet you first selection is in a 19 runner apprentice hcap when there's at least 7 others you could make a strong case for. Need to be more selective imo.

i suppose it had to happen took a fair hit today still in front overall on this system but will be looking elsewhere in the future see you all soon and good luck for the future from your last venture, think the concenses from your lay thread was you were well behind, not in profit but looks like the system when used for laying failed. what makes you really think this one will work. have bumped the whole thread, its around the 4th page now if anyone wants a look. |
