The method the OP is using has some merit. But, why restrict yourself by having a 3/1 rule? I use, amongst other methods, a similar type of plan. But, I wouldn't be having 10 bets a day! I use it over a longer period and only on certain types of races. I also use bigger stakes and will bet under 3/1. I've seen horses at say 7/4 or 15/8 that I think should be odds on. So, I couldn't let them run unbacked! I also use it on 2 selections in the same race if I'm very confident of one of the 2 winning.

here we go a few losing bets and every man and his dog

turns up only down just over £400 two of the bets were

not above 3/1. my bank is now over £2000 so whats the panic

still got plenty of bets left before thats blown

I'd find it impossible to find 10 selections in a WEEK that I'd be prepared to back, let alone in one day! Lack of patience is the number one enemy for every losing punter.
