This offer is NOT what David Williams advertised....he clearly stated up to £20 money back
The actual offer is indeed a max £20 free bet- and heres the rub: £20 cash refunded on (say) a 4/1 winner = a return of £100 As a free bet - the £20 stake is refunded and only £80 is paid back A shameful con imo or at best a genuine mistake which needs to be corrected to the making of cash refunds  |

Anyone who backed Camelot on his word on Ch4 were told and I quote(not word for word though).
"Back Camelot, put £20 on and we'll give you £8 back with it if he wins, and even if he loses we'll give you back your £20 quid" . .No mention of Accounts, loyalty cards, apps or £20 going on to another bet......nothing just that statement...and it's all on record LIVE  |

He steamed into Robert Cooper after the Portland (who was a bigger eejit for reading it out) with a quote for the winner for the Ayr Gold Cup. Even Spoils wouldn't stump that low which is saying something for how much williams knows! |

On Chanel 4's morning line today your David Williams gave details of a 'promotion of the century'- bet up to £20 on Camelot to win the St Ledger today - and if he loses 'we'll give you your money back.' I reacted by placing a telephone bet of £20 to win I have checked my account - and you have now offered a free bet. You will be well aware that this is not the same as my money back- and i want my money back- as advertised. No quibbles please- note this matter has already been reported to the ASA. You need to honour the promise of your spokesperson- David Williams- or this will go further. I suggest you refer this to your marketing department without delay. Note that i telephoned your customer services who were less than helpful. |

He did say it was cash back up to £20 and simply place a bet and if it loses you are guaranteed a return of £8 (2/5). I tried 20 seconds later to get on it and it limited me to £2 at 2/5 a return of 80p and if it loses a free bet to that amount.
