Solely because of that dude from Laddies appearing on the ML show, I went out of my way to go to one of their shops to take advantage of their £20 cash-back if Camelot gets beat offer. The guy was lying through his teeth. He said "offer open to all clients" and "cash back if the horse gets beat". Manageress of the shop informed me offer only open to new or existing loyalty card holders, and anyway it's not cash-back, its refund of a free bet. Tanya you owe it to the punters to apologise for allowing that character to use your spot to con them.

The bookies reps., are running around like headless chickens trying to get one over on each other.
The Ladbrokes rep., clearly stated it was money back if Camelot got beat, he / channel 4 will probably say there wasn't sufficient time given to explain the offer fully, bollocks. |

He did say it was cash back up to £20 and simply place a bet and if it loses you are guaranteed a return of £8 (2/5).
I tried 20 seconds later to get on it and it limited me to £2 at 2/5 a return of 80p and if it loses a free bet to that amount. Absolute disgrace and as a result I have closed my account as it isn't worth my time anymore as most bets they limit me to £1 maximum lol. Fair play to Billies, they had a price promise at 10am on Camelot at Evens and I got on easy at nearly 10.02 via the net. |

The woman on the phone said that the deal was NOT available over landline telephone accounts, but could only be activated using online accounts or mobile phone accounts. |

To be honest, Hills have done Lads over with announcing their offer last night and pulling the rug from ladblokes on their big sponsorship day. Sounds like they were up at 5.00am trying to think of a counter offer. It was more embarrassing that the Morning Line NEVER ONCE mentioned the Hills offer despite it being plastered all over the racing post. (Assume this was not to upset Ladbrokes). However, none of the above, validates the blatent untruths expressed by the Lads Rep. "Greatest offer in History of racing", "Money Back", "Open to everyone", "No Brainer", etc     |
