No clean sheet today sadly as the hairiest of hairy bikers rob22 hits the deck at the 10th. Hard luck rob, a fifth gold not to be this time,

just missing out on the medals but with a small profit as consolaion.

So into the medals we hurtle. Again nothing too challenging, but posy led the way, if a tad fortunately as Hollow Bay was kept at bay by just a neck at 7.

That's lubbly jubbly - anther clean sheet and all done by teatime! Eleven fences and still going strong ... ish.

general custer was the outstanding layer of the day, knowing Valkartier would not be worth watching at 2.84.

Superb. I think meanwhile we should put posy on suicide watch: a head yesterday, a neck today!

Who knows what tomorrow will bring? He thought he was toast yesterday. Looks like it was buttered today.

Sadly, it was third time unlucky for posy. After clipping the last two fences he finally hit the deck with what turned into a somewhat expensive runner that dented his profit. Hard luck posers,

but you still have a profit and of course a shiny bronze medal for your effiorts. Clearing 11 straight fences is no mean feat, especially over the recent period. So well done.

Okay general, time to make your last stand. It was indeed general custer who showed ahead today, knowing Silent Approach would be making no noise today at 5.93.

Pity really, as I had a joke about the Nobel prize ready and waiting! Can't say we're not topical here.

Thirteenth fence next: unlucky for some, lucky for others. Let's see if we can both clear it. It's a Sunday, which aint great. Best of luck to us!

That's the 13th packed away - a Sunday 'n all. Well done to us on the first clean sheet of this particular head-to-head.

general custer showed me a clean pair of heels by predicting a black day for Black Sam at 4.85.

My little number heaved all the way out to more than 14 before finishing third. That would have wiped out my profits!
