well I must admit it does nark a bit ... to the extent I'm thinking of stopping it all because I never have an evening to mmyself. Maybe I'll introduce a cutoff. Having to do this and the naps comp at the same time is a bit if a **** TBH

It's just got a lot worse since there's been virtually daily evening racing

Next time I play Reged I will make a point of not posting a selection in  the last couple of races, it makes it worse with someone posting late with only two players

reg  why not restrict the lay competition to daytime races ?

Its been a great comp Reged, no-one would blame you if you took a step back.

You could restrict it to day racing really Reged. People do have lunch breaks you know!!  Anyway whatever. You are doing a great job. Thank you.

Well, we almost made 20. But pumphol got done at the 19th by a nag that drfited out to a devastating 21, wiping out his profit and leaving us with a staggering loss.   Drifter of the day or what?

But well done to Kentish Man on his fifth thoroughly deserved gold, not half bad for an octogenarian. It won't be so easy when you are a nonagenarian km - just ask skinto.    A very solid £18 profit and a chance to claim another 20+ award in the next race. Soopa troopa!

Hard luck to pumphol (ish), but he does end up with a silver medal to take some of the pain off that loss.   And well done again to MOB on claiming the bronze.

No classic race that but much better than recently, although the majority still couldn't get past the third fence. Difficult this laying lark eh? Anyway, thanks to everyone who took part.

Thanks very much to everyone for the kind remarks, much appreciated and cannot thank you enough Reged for your unending, beyond the call of duty, hard work.  It goes without saying that everybody on this great competition is indebted to you.  Your daily puns and quips make the day a bit more cheerful!!
To Pumphol, you have been a worthy opponent and I wish you well.
Regarding Mr Skint, I thought he was already a centurion; he certainly shows the wisdom of one, God bless his Norfolk socks.

And so to the 11th October when it seems action starts again, you will know best Reged but do not push yourself too hard, please consider a cut off and maybe make Sundays a free day.
