Cant have a horse that never broke a track record as up with the best AG,not even in two cent races in her own back yard. The clock is a fair measure for sprinters even if other variables have to be considered?

She was never really tested in Australia though but her sectional times were very impressive. She only needed to do what she had to. The fact her sectional times were so good tells me she would have dominated over here at 5 furlongs for the last 2 years.

There is plenty of literature on her sectionals. I have just been checking them out again. Plenty of mathematical brains have been equating the speed of Black Caviar and even on dead ground she was still recording impressive sectionals. I dont think that there is any doubting her speed over 5 furlongs..but thats her limit in world class G1 racing.

Zenyatta mark 2.

Runs up a massive sequence at prohibitive prices in favourable conditions against a moderate peer group.

Certainly nowhere near as good as Dayjur/Lochsong  and probably on a par with Deacon Blues.

LaughI leave the room and a Mensa meeting ensues Laugh

All so seemingly knowledgeable about a subject, opposition, times, tracks....

10500 miles away Laugh

THE BIG QUESTION IS.......

which one of you is Steven Hawking Laugh

Can't be TomThumb, because........

Those times mean little when run on dead flat tracks on good or fast going.

Fast tracks have been basically extinguished from the landscape of professional Australia

racecourses for almost a decade Blush

Shows how easy it is to fool people.

By watching a replay and reminding me of those past winners I'm fooled? CrazyLaugh

Blinded by the unbeaten record.

When it lasts for FOUR seasons it's a tad hard to ignore...sorry Cool

Not the same as running here is it?  .....Now that's just GOLD Blush

Not Hawking .......perhaps Einstein??? Cool

Bigprick?

Definately not Steven Mischief

PeteGabriel

You made some sense but....She is a monster over 5 furlongs.

As an English man i still feel this.
Shocked

Freakin me out a bit there....so nope, not Steve Sad

so that leaves

HighPriest.....

interesting read from you one eyed poms Wink

lets look at it in what matters most to english, "the stud "

ask your selves one question. "why are 2 of the 4 highest price (fee) sprinter stallions fully booked in england and breeders cant get enough of these 2 and are australian sires ", naturally the other 2 highest price (fee) reside in australia Wink

bag australian horses as much as you like, pound for pound on equal terms they are 2nd to none and your racing industry know this as fact, not 2 bit mug punters on a forum with an opinion Wink

Megsy we know that breeders easily get caught up in all the hype, but hype or not, it is what the offspring achieve that will ultimately decide whether breeders stick it out for the long run. (long run - no pun intended)

Choisir looks like a stallion success story already but his fees really are chicken feed if you look at our classic stallions..and that my friend reflects the gulf in class when you compare BC to Frankel for example.

What is the stud fee for Galileo?? Laugh..you numpty

Exactly i am pointing out to you that sprinters are two a penny. BC is a fast sprinter. Just another one down the line. What has she ever proved apart from that.

Before Royal Ascot you Australian thick heads were even comparing her class with Frankel. She is a sprinter who barely stayed 6f. Sprinting is like 20/20 cricket. Its a novelty event.
