Very poor renewal.  I was watching the July Cup memories from 1979-85 on RUK last night.  I dread to think what any of those sprinters would have done to this field today.

Heavy ground is not designed for sprinters. Only one horse relished it.

Compare an old handicapper like Hawkeyethenoo's finishing position to the Aussie "superstars" Ortensia and Sepoy!

credit to ortensia connections, it would have been all too easy to invent an injury and scurry back down under.

I think you can safely put a line through this years July Cup.
Connections of Mayson won't be complaining though!.

obviously australia would send her best sprinters to the top sprint in europe, so if that was your best . . . .

LOL.....and you know the answer to neither of those questions......do you even know if my parents are alive or were able to see me grow up and how I've "turned out" anyway?

One thing I have not turned out to be is a clearly bitter, sad and pathetic fcuker (maybe that sounds familiar?) posting sh1t aimed personally at someone over the Internet that they don't know from Adam and wouldn't know if they passed them in the street. Laugh

Laugh, I nearly did! Happy

Even more reason to suggest Aussie horses like Black Caviar are little more than a fair weather performers than eh?

Weren't Ortensia and Sepoy supposed to be two or your best? Blush
By:

When: 14 Jul 12 16:40
like to know who said they were 2 of our best, Sepoy was the best 2 year old of his time but hasn't done much since then

Ortensia never won a mainstay group 1 back home, only turned a few heads when she won in Dubai

She is nothing more than a good sprinter. Your horses are mediocre to say the least. When you get a good one you start getting excited when they keep on winning, but it aint the quantity of the wins its the quality. Then you have to equate the ratings of thehorses which your best beat..around the 120 mark and only just!!Laugh
