Its a completely pointless column. You tip the favourite for the northumberland plate and in the process it means no one can get more than 25 quid on it with any bookie. The prices you tip arent available. Your column might as well read "pricewise the column where if your quick and get to the bookies at 8am youll get 25 quid on my tip".

By tipping Il De Re in the northumberland plate you have ensured that every punter in the country is unable to back the favourite in the plate, are you happy with this?

Are you happy that they only lay 25 quid on your selections?

The whole concept is completely pointless im afraid

Where do you get the £25 from. It is only £10 at 6/1 by Ladcrooks!

ladbrokes are laying it for £100 in their shops but seeing as there are only about 4 that open at 8 its a joke i agree.

For once he is tipping horses with a chance of winning as opposed to the bizarre selections he usually tips which have as much chance of winning as my labrador.

Can't exactly ban him for that - it is the books that are out of order not him.  My problem with Pricewise is that he tips long priced horses that almost always run significantly better than their form suggests they should. He clearly has some information that is not available to punters yet he tries to explain it through form.  A horse might win if it reverts to form it showed 18 months ago, even though it has run half a dozen times since, sometimes under similar conditions, yet he seems to know when it will suddenly revert back to that good form.

Thanks to pricewise no one can back the favourite in the days biggest race, what a joke

Unless of course you want 10 pounds on

Fair enough if segal tips outsiders no one can complain about him stopping everyone from getting a bet on but to tip the favourite and single handedly ensure no one can get a bet on up and down the country is a disgrace

I wonder if Segal backs his own selections? Perhaps he should be made to with evidence to back this up. I believe all media pundits should back their choices with their appearance fee!

bit ironic this happens just after he is put on the ladbrokes payroll

These threads are becoming pointless!

Stop crying you lot, you could have backed Il De Re at 10/1 at the beginning of the week, it was obvious that this horse would be fav and people would tip it, but you have left it all to the day to back itConfused.

Get in early next time on the big races! NAP

The primary agenda of the column is not for followers to make a profit, it's to sell newspapers to those stupid enough to support a newspaper seeking to exploit them...

I'm delighted for Tom Segal. Had a bad run. Back on top.

Pricewise has a lot of knockers on here. Unsurprisingly, your chances of getting matched on a Pricewise selection at recommended price on this exchange are zero.

The Ladbrokes conspiracy merchants are quiet tonight, too.

He is becoming increasingly obvious ....

Must have been an order from above to start tipping winners no matter what price....

Cannot mention the Editor or the thread will be pulled....

Pricewise is wonderful for the determined arber. Manys a Saturday morning I've risen early, hit a couple of corals for £50 a piece of a segal jobby and laid off for a guaranteed £25 whether it wins or loses, what a service!!! If it's a ladcrooks offering simply rollover and snooze on, tightwad shysters.

£25 for half hours work, let's see that's £80 per hour grossed up for tax at 40%, £140k a year equiv sounds like benefits to me..... You must be loaded home for tea.

Segal only gets involved in handicap lotteries anyway what's any of you moaning for he saves you from yourselves
