Well, I don't know about being the only one still in the net, but I'm certainly not in the loop. Confused

Has the RP been warned or not?

Btw, very few Irish people would ever run to the police, so, thanks for the contact details, but, personally, I buy the RP when I'm going racing, and, not for one minute, do I heed anything its so-called tipsters  say or do.
The reason i buy it is because I like the boring data ( racecards etc) in it. I'd be sorry to see it closed down.
On the other hand, I couldn't care less about the btfr forum.
Must be something wrong with me, I suppose, but frankly, most of the stuff on here seems like total nonsense to me. Sad

The legal mumbo jumbo is completely irrelevent in any case.

The paper has no case to answer in any size, shape or form.

Is was what you said, after what I had said.hth

The distant days btw are reference to starting not finishing in law.In fact if you wish proof of how recent some prosecutions were I can give you a list of people I had a hand in putting behind bars and the civilian officers involved.

To authenticate this I could PM you the names which you could then PM to grimmy,he could then PM them to Skinto who 1.01 would recognise at least some of them.Long winded way to authenticate but an assurance of being genuine. It so happens that when I met Skinto a few weeks ago we discussed a former Chief Supt I had worked with whom he knows.

Pommy are you really thick or do you practice?

As stated it make no difference if any action is taken, the object was to make sure they dont pull strokes like it in future, and for your info they do have a case to answer.hth

All of which makes your stance even more bizarre.

I had put it down to naievity however if that is not the case then it makes the whole thing look even more ridiculous.

It takes all sorts I suppose.

Be lucky.

Left to the likes of you Banks the people of the UK would be speaking German. If you cant see the simplicity of the initial action then it is you and the others who have sought to make a simple action seem complicated and far fetched who need to look in a mirror.

Either you do not have the wit, guts or intellect for such a simple task.Simply instigated to prevent any future false claims.hthCryCry

I could ask you exactly the same question GT.

If the object was to make sure that they 'will not pull strokes like this in the future' then your objective will have failed.

The RP will not hesitate to pull a similar stunt again. Why? Because they are not breaking any rules and they are not breaking any laws.

To suggest otherwise is deluded at best.

Not deluded pommy........FACT.Suggest you go and have a look in Stones Justice Manual or some similar tome.Do you think HM government spent hundreds of thousands of £s training and educating me to serve them in order to get a simple deception case wrong?LaughLaughWink

Strange how there has been no outrage and threats of suing me for libel dont you think?Wink

Still wondering whether the RP has

a) been warned

b) apologised to the btfr forum

yet? Confused

I probably lack the wit, breeding, and education, to understand, but I can't help wondering about it. My original take was that a deadline had been issued.

All I can glean so far is that " money goes to money". We have a wealthy Scottish aristocrat who was a top officer in the ritish army and, as well,  a top man in legal and police circles in England,
who now sails around southern Italy on a boat and
gets horseracing tips from "the Amalfi" and somebody known as "Molerat".

It would appear the british taxpayers have forked out an absolute fortune on this gentleman, who is now disgruntled by some headline in a UK racing paper.

Perhaps the downside of being superhuman and extremely fortunate is boredom.
I know that if I had such wealth and ability, the last thing I'd be bothered with would be the infamous btfr forum, but there you go.
Racing is a funny old game.
There are some strange folk involved, including myself, I suppose.

He's only joking about all that Sean Rua mate. I made the mistake of thinking everyone was serious when I first started going on the internet and I found this discussion room. They call it fishing mate. I was in the net for weeks when I came here.

It's about some lad who fell for a prostitute. You can't control your feelings very much but it's a silly thing to do.

I'm currently deciding whether GT-MOLE has knocked Tonto the sex tourist off top spot in the race to be crowned the forums most ill informed, deluded bore.

On balance I think he must remain in 2nd spot for the time being.

Fair comment. Mind you that description of him is probably as accurate as his description of me being a bookmaker which he appears to roll out every time he is unable to counter an opposing view.

Incidentally sex tourism is perfectly legal with adults in countries where prostitution is legal. It was Tonto himself who brought in the more odious references.

Tonto a few facts that your poorly developed brain should try and digest -

1 - I do not play the pervert card. I mentioned Gary Glitters travel I did not talk about his actions. You decided to draw that parallel. I wonder why?

2 - Every single refernce to paedophilia and illegal activity has come from you. Sex tourism can be legal with consenting adults however you have decided to focus on a distasteful illegal side of this. I wonder why?

3 - You have constantly misrepresented me and continue to do so because you are ill equipped to take part in structured discussions.

4 - You claim I cause misery and poverty around the world and am a "seriously bad person" Please can you clarify this point with evidence. Either that or retract it with an apology.

In the meantime I suggest you crawl back under your stone and try and work out an exit strategy.

For the record I will go 1.01 that I have been a greater positive influence on the world in my lifetime than you have.

One day I may reveal who I am and what I do. To say that you will be feasting on humble pie when that happens will be a major understatement.

Because it was what you meant for people to do? Do you bring up GG's name often?
I know you are not a music fan, so what is his name being bandied about on a horse/racing forum for?
