Neither will I Jermaine. You cannot justify slaughter. The euphoria and the aftermath. It is like a killing field. Claire looks truly shocked bless her. That isn't enjoyable more of a nightmare.

Your only catching on now that this race kills horses?
|
|
By:
its a horse race. It happens. Yes its sad - but its a known part of the game.Get over it
|

was of the same mind, then realised i shared the thoughts of a moron like jermaine so onwards and upwards and strength to strength on channel 4 is the call now.
|

Happens weekly, so I would suggest avoiding all horse racing if that is how you feel.

Looking forward to the fox hunters having some beagles in it

Until next year?

You people saying "it happens", "it's racing" etc. are missing the point.
This race is made so dangerous by the conditions (types of fences, length of race) and the field size - things that could easily be changed to save much of the bloodshed. |

One is reminded of **** Hern's comment that 'there is live stock and there is dead stock'
|
|
By:
the people who say "it happens" do they have any argument as to why it should continue?

Daughter finally stopped crying
It's not family entertainment is it Real Xxx certificate. Certainly for over 18 s But then I'm a lot older than that and I'm upset by the Pete pictures. It was truly terrible |

Whether you bet in this race again is not I'm sure of any consequence to anyone.
Why you bother to state the bleeding obvious about the fact that horses have died is also nothing new to most of us. If you really feel strongly about the National, dont waste our time on here. Get off your arse and petition people, go to your MP, put yourself out there and do something about it. Methinks your not passionate enough to do anything other than mouth off like many others. Do something positive or hold your peace. |

Wot was I saying about gob ****s in an earlier thread. This sport has capable leaders and they need to be strong stand up and be counted. Public opinion is shifting. They should be sensible enough to ban it.It cannot continue as it is for sure.

Complete over reaction. Yes it is very sad,but sadly horses lose their lives every week in horse racing, jumps and flat
|
|

RM is correct. Always the 'bleeding heart ' brigade march out after the event. Its sport. In sport horrible things happen.

Watchit. What said about football was there are some bad head injurys. and the head to head and elbowing should be clamped down on massively Every week it's a blood bath and I can't remember the last game I watched without claret all over the pitch. That's what I believe
But this was on a different level and could easily be prevented The sight of the foaming traumatised synchronised chucking A P off in terror before being chased and forced to run to it's death will stay with me for years Maybe its correct that animals are more aware of future and past events than humans |

By:
jermaine go and find something else to do rather than watch horse racing and moan about it.hth
|

Eeeyore. I suppose you go badger baiting and dog fighting

Dale winton's on later, watch that instead

I know there's some cruel people on these forums. But I'm astonished that some can defend this slaughter.
Like I said could poor old synchronised make it more clear he didn't want to race. Then gets chased across the county to hs death. What a way to go ![]() |

Up date I will never watch or bet of national hunt again it's a blood sport
|
|

Particpants are killed in Boxing, Football, Greyhound racing, Motor racing, Motor cycle racing, Power boat racing, etc, etc, ..... shall we ban those sports as well ?
|
|
By:
The amount of people killed crossing the road is an ongoing everyday event, do I assume correctly that Jermaine has stopped crossing the roads as well...... let's move on....hiihoo Silver AWAAAaayyy......

Every week it's a blood bath and I can't remember the last game I watched without claret all over the pitch. Jermaine... please stay away from any code of rugby then, it will be too much for you. And don't ever turn your tv on when there's boxing on.. or you'll end up in rehab. The sight of the foaming traumatised synchronised chucking A P off in terror before being chased and forced to run to it's death will stay with me for years Foaming and traumatised before chucking AP off in terror???? Horse is spooked by something, does a jink, AP ends up on the deck. Happens. |

'Grow up and get on with it' was Paul Nicholls solution to the tragedy. doesn't give a fcuk obviously.

John you said it. Yourself synchronised was SPOOKED........... so why run the poor thing.
As I said it looked frightened |
|
