Of course, it is theoretically possible to achieve the 5K to 30K cheltenham challenge with one 5/1 winner each year - but that requires around an 18% probability of success and the whole purpose of the thread is to show how easy it is to do this challenge with a series of bets, each of which is about 98-100% certain!!

STARTING BANK = £5000
TARGET = £30,000
FINAL BANK = £30,100
FINAL PROFIT = £25,100

If you bet with a £5000 bank you now have £30,000
If you started with a £500 bank you now have £3000
If you started with a £50 bank you now have £300

GRAVY KNOWS .............. GRAVY KNOWS....................
Everybody's wealthy now!!! You followed Gravedodger and you got wealthy again!!!! Well done for following old Gravy!!!

I will be back next year - meanwhile i sell all my secret info to ISIRIS if you want to win these amounts regularly then join them as i have no intention of posting my secret bets on here every day - but thanks for following the past 11 years - reached £30k target NINE times out of 11 now - and will try again in 2013

Best wishes to you all and goodbye until 2013 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Picks cheltenham for a good reason, bookies paradise and most of these tips are lays, its pure and simple that if bookies have a bad cheltenham they have a bad year!

In 11 years this conman only ever picks cheltenham hmmmmmmmmmmmm can't think why!!!!!!

2. In the previous 10 years, we have reached the £30,000 target EIGHT times, and TWO times we have lost the £5000 bank (a nett profit of £190,000 over 10 years).

You are back for the 11th year...but joined in 2008? Oh dear oh dear oh dear

rizzle if you could of been arsed to read the 4 or 5th post you would of seen the reason behind this.

ive just read through the whole thread and it was entertaining even after all the events, wished id of seen it start of last week.  wether it was 'secret info' lol or just palin good luck, w d gd

One would need to be pretty stupid not to profit from a lot of the Cheltenham favorites

as the whole meetings markets are geared towards massive Industry purges taking

much more than the 10% markup that is the norm for books.

I also doubt the poster would make a profit if having to find horse worth backing

as this would require more than the standard with provided by traditional odds compliers and bookmakers

using  A bha ratings and form book and a slide rule set to skim....

Very muck look forward to the thread though as it looks good.

Bookies are wide open to pros taking advantage of higher prices in markets that are let

lose as they bend the short end further than is sensible in the hope of easy money from

the hype fed sheep that are corralled neatly in a tight spot every year also the term

tight "bait ball" and "sharks" has great similarities to this environment...

Thanks kpf - but sadly there are no plans to repeat the £5k to £30k in 2013.
It would have been nice to go for this challenge again - to make it achieved 10 times out of 12.
But it looks unlikely - not impossible though - we shall see..........

The thread is a bit of gas so hope you do it again this year, the best part is watching The Triple O Never Give Up flying into a rage then regurgitating others posts but adding the all important smileys and ably backed up by the equally moronic Hello.

" post your bets " is the Never Give Up catchphrase yet he himself doesn't bet.

Your paranoid Never Give Up you see me everywhere.
You will be able to get stuck in here with the usual short replies " post your bets ". " fantasy island " and add a myriad of smileys.

Why not try to create a racing thread of your own not ones berating Lazarus or accusing someone of some sexual deviancy, you have made nearly 24 thousand posts without creating a single worthwhile thread, some achievement.
