19/07/2012 Bath, 19 July 2012 The Stewards gave permission for races 3 and 4 to be started 20 yards in front of the usual starting position in compliance with BHA GI 3.4, paragraph 2. Pat Cosgrave, who was declared to ride SIGNIFER (IRE), failed to arrive in time to weigh out. The Stewards found the rider in breach of Rule (D)41.1 and fined him £140. Permission was given for Charles Bishop to be substituted. The Stewards held an enquiry into two incidents of possible interference. In the first, inside the final furlong, they found that the winner, SCHOOL FEES, ridden by Amy Scott, had interfered with ADVENTURE STORY, unplaced, ridden by Jimmy Fortune.. The Stewards found Scott in breach of Rule (B)54.1 and guilty of careless riding in that she manoeuvred left handed. They suspended her for 1 day as follows: Thursday 2 August. In the second incident, on the run to the line, they found that NIGHT TRADE (IRE), placed second, ridden by Raul Da Silva, had interfered with DANCING WELCOME, unplaced, ridden by Richard Kingscote. The Stewards found Da Silva in breach of Rule (B)54.1 and guilty of careless riding in that he allowed his horse to drift left handed. They suspended him for 3 days as follows: Thursday 2, Friday 3 and Sunday 5 August Dai Burchell, the trainer of GOING FRENCH (IRE), reported that he had been unable to fit the tongue strap and the gelding ran without it. |

The situation re the Championship could become very interesting indeed if
Moore who appears uninterested in making the effort required to win it keeps taking days off. Matt Chapman must be really squirming at the moment after declaring to the World on "Get On" a few weeks ago that Hughes had no earthly chance, actually in my book at the moment he is favourite. |

If Hughes doesnt get injured he will win. I have been saying this since the beginning of the season. Pure and simple maths. He will ride to 19%-20% and will ride a load more than Moore. No brainer and bookies only just catching up.... Absolutely buying money.

What a complete load if bilge,Moore is barely out of first gear,everytime someone closes the gap he rides a few winners,I fancied Hughes very stronly before he got his months ban because I would have expected him to have been well ahead of Moore at this stage of the season,the fact that he is 7 BEHIND,I think he will have trouble catching him,more can easily match Hughes s strike rate in fact his strike rate has always been higher. |

Delta the original poster on aforementioned thread was totally
genuine the guy cross examining and offering to donate to charity at the moment appears to be a hamshanker. Some gambler that KR would you not agree and a very nice chap to boot. |

I just got off the phone to someone very close to hannon yard and he says that Moore will help Hughes to win title. He knows how much he wants it and Hughes is desperate to stick it the BHA. They are obviously friends and work closely together at the hannon yard. Moore is a multi millionaire that really isnt bothered if he wins the title.
Anyone who thinks moore wont be taking it east come the end of the season is very wrong. He even said he will be throwing in a couple of holidays before the end of the season. I hope you are all on Hughes as he WILL WIN. Simple as that. |
