Delta no it was not me trading, actually a day or so ago I

backed Hughes again at 1-9, I have been trying to think of

ways where he might not win this thing and apart from his

getting hurt or retiring in the very near future I cant.

Broadsword-I'd love to help but my belly is full, and I suspect most people who follow this thread are the same. You could start a new
"Arb alert" thread pointing out that he can be laid at 18/1 on here then backed at 20/1 with 365.

Hughes looks nailed on to ride 140 winners and with that being the case what

of the chasers is likely, with 8 weeks of the season left, to emulate this?

Looks to my tired old Eyes mission impossible.

Blimey, 140 is a bit conservative wee eck. With the form of the Hannon horses, plus the decent outside rides he's getting, I'd have easily north of 150 as my fav. Shocked

Those nice bookie chappies could do us all a favour and pay out now eh Love

Nirnaeth, they could but I am sure the firms I am on with wont, never mind something to

look forward to.   I will be preparing my short list for next years event and I say now

W Buick will not be on it but Barzolona most definitely will. Cheers, now hoping Woods comes

up trumps in the American Golf.

Delta it is great fun trying to sort it out, pity about having to have stacks of cash

to lay out for 8 months or so

In another 7-10 days it will be statistically improbable for Hughes to get beaten.

By that I mean SDS could ride to the same 15% that he has ridden all season and still not beat Hughes even if Hughes didn't ride another winner.

I think at that point bookies will pay out. Looking at near the end of the month..

How any price is available on exchanges is unbeliable. I would have it but it makes no difference to me now. Whats the point of trying to knick a few quid when I have £10K coming back already.

Hughes with 11 rides today! Looks like at least a couple of winners, with some luck maybe 4.

Dont agree with that broadsword.

Today is pretty much the day where SDS can't win.

He has ridden at 15% all season. If he rides the same number of horses per week for the last 8 weeks he will ride 30 winners.

In the 26 weeks of the season so far SDS has ridden an average of 25 runners a week @ 15% win rate.

If he rides 26 runners a week for the last 8 weeks @ 15% he will ride 30 winners.

Hughes is 32 clear.

Hughes wins this year even if he doesnt ride another winner.

Bookies should be paying out.

not past sds to get 35 in last 8 weeks if needed...say for arguments sake if hughes picked up an injury
By:

When: 15 Sep 12 17:47
If you are saying that its statistically possilbe then obviously it is.

What odds that hughes doesnt ride another winner all season and SDS rides above his season percentage in the weakest part of the season?

Oh and add that Hannon is on fire and SDS isnt even 1st jockey for Johnston.

Personally I think it's 1.01
By:
broadsword
When: 15 Sep 12 17:59
of course if hughes doesnt pick up an injury (hope not) then hes going to win...but these things can happen
and he probably should be shorter than he is on here
btw.....seb sanders rode  31winners in one month towards the end of his battle with spencer

Love it, Franny Norton firing in the winners for Johnston and SDS stuck on Godolphin third string runners...

It's almost like the Shiekh Mo has lumped on Hughes for the title!...

Hughes fires in 2 more winnners with Hannon runners just about in top form. I have been told that Hannon has at least 20 2 year olds that they think will win once or twice before the end of thier season on thier current hanidcap marks. AND They still have around 15 newcomers that they think are nailed on to win first time out...

Bookmakers can't hold out for long. PAY UP!...
