I'm sure they will be able find a 3-25 F -

- somewhere in the World - to stuff you.

Is there a Cartoon Racing track, beginning with an 'F' - for starters? CryGrin

shirley they will try to dodge it Confused

You need to get some advice .....
Report pedrobob February 27, 2012 10:10 AM GMT
would imagine last leg is void, as you can't expect the bookie to assume you wrote the single letter abbreviation incorrectly.
Just as likely that you put the time down incorrectly?
Report Virgin February 27, 2012 10:12 AM GMT
pedrobob    yeah that's a fair point .....  settle as a double the likeliest solution ....

Right guys, have just downloaded ladbrokes SHOP rules.

Rule [e] error regarding the meeting or race time

[i] TIME OF THE SELECTION STATED BUT NO MEETING........

all selections in the multiple will stand for the meeting which does have a race at that time

So go forth and collect your winning treble with confidence.
Report stridingedge February 27, 2012 12:00 PM GMT
that's the logic i thought last night

time has always been the deciding factor, unless clashing races of course.
Report Deltâ February 27, 2012 12:01 PM GMT
that rule dont apply here, that says

TIME OF THE SELECTION STATED BUT NO MEETING

there was a meeting stated as in F
Report towcester judge February 27, 2012 12:07 PM GMT
you will be fine....just checked the archive, no duplicate meetings at scotsville or the german meeting yeaterday....1.01 to collect a treble
Report stridingedge February 27, 2012 12:10 PM GMT
i'd be a heavy layer at 1.01 tbh
Report stridingedge February 27, 2012 12:14 PM GMT
i must admit when i read this last night i didn't notice that F was an actual meeting that day (fontwell), you'd still like to think that goodwill would prevail but i'd have real concerns that it may not.
Report towcester judge February 27, 2012 12:18 PM GMT
very worse case scenario, split stake with one if the fontwell races and the 3.25
Report ribotman February 27, 2012 12:37 PM GMT
OPshould definitely be paid full winnings on treble as having looked again rule[v] states that if a meeting is stated but inncorrect time then selection will gonto a meeting with that time.

so the bet can be settled as treble using either of the rules i have stated.

i suspect that 1234 maybe you got confused with fairyhouse being a recent irish meeting.

anyway don't settle for anything less than full payment.

Thank you striding.

Knowledge,especially in gambling,is power.

Althogh any one could have done it had they gone to ladbroke's site and down loaded their shop rules.
Report ribotman February 28, 2012 11:29 AM GMT
Pity ladcrooke's staff can't look at and interprete their own rules.
Why am i not surprised though.
