Its me teabag141 - came over to have a look - the same issues that i highlighted to you.. Mince pointed the issue out and Wee took up the mantle to post an up to date bank... to 3.5% Com.. As said before no one has any issues really how you come to your selections - anyone following this will want you to have as many successfuls lays as possible but you or someone must keep proper and realistic figures. You choose not to debate the merits of a selection and thats no problem ( doing so gives more credibility to your long term figures)... bottom line is long term profit. But long term profit must be realistic... As Mince pointed out in a short time the difference between ISP and BSP is the difference between overall profit and loss... It would be interesting to show your own prices laid to see if you beat ISP which was what you used to settle winners..... ill keep a running total to BSP less 5% Com on the other forum.... On the 18/02/2012 the Bank was around £30+ and on the 19th it rose to £600 + -- at the start Norma mentioned £10 a point - but im assuming you are working to 100 a point -- just to clarify this point that you are working to 100 a point and know this.. |

Norma I hope things turn for the better today.
Layoftheweek I calculate at £100 per point as I think that Norma lays 10 units as her base figure and each point in her calculation is worth £10. The reason I use commission at 3.5% is that is the rate I am on at present. Good luck. Running total less commission + £443.5. |

Have you ever considered posting your bets here I have always found a big difference in selecting horses compared to physically pressing that bet button and placing the stake on my selection It's a psychological thing - It is easy to select but difficult to bet Even if you are placing bets away from here you could still post them so as to show others how you work Thank you in advance, well done up to now and good luck |

I've been on forums for a long time, and have never had to see or post screenshots of peoples bets, their word is usually good. If the threads or bets are not profitable, people simply won't read. Norma |

I have said what I think - You seem to have taken offence There is a big difference to posting selections to large money stakes profit calculations compared to physically placing large money bets Norma-Stitz I started posting my bets a few weeks ago and rapidly lost 1400 Pounds, I have since broke lucky and have managed to win my losses back It is one thing posting up selections but something else when placing the stake It's a psychological thing When making and posting selections for a paper trading exercise the person making the selections is under no pressure due to the fact that he/she is in a no lose situation The nitty gritty of it is that when placing a large bet it is very easy to become unsure whilst viewing the market and reading the latest views at a Website etc - What I am saying is that many gamblers will change their mind about their selection when the money comes into play Paper trading is one thing - Betting with large ammounts of money requires big gonads I am interested about your thoughts on my findings as I feel it may well be the case that many good tipsters don't bet with large ammounts of money as they know the money will possibly alter their way of selecting No big money down = Relaxed = Clear thinking Perhaps this is the way forward for all tipsters Norma, not that I have ever had anything to do with them Please don't be offended by my views Good luck |

I am relaxed when I'm placing bets with other peoples money, which I am fortunate enough to be doing, My worries would come if it were my money, and I were trying to get back on track. fortunately that hasn't happened as yet. I've never had anything to do with tipsters either.  Back tomorrow with lays, if any. |

Putting hard earned money on a horse, hoping it loses just doesn't seem right to me. Laying is such a souless way to bet. And imo - no long term profit of any significance can be made.
